The staff is absolutely fantastic! Always available to help, cook us delicious food, always with a smile! The villa is large with a lovely pool and a short walk away to the beautiful river

The house needs a bit of renovation There is a smell in the bedrooms because of mottballs that were present in all the drawers and cupboards, we took them all out but it took a full day to clear the smell… However, when we told the staff they were very understanding so hopefully they find a solution in the future.

Beautiful massive villa with stunning views of the Mahaweli river and greenery all around. Huge shout out to the service of the staff and the amazing authentic Sri Lankan cuisine - all made fresh with a lot of it grown in their very own garden. Will be staying here next time we visit.

The approach road to the villa is tricky and narrow, but that is for the government to fix. The kitchen could use a reno with new cupboards and appliances.

An exceptional location. Both views and serenity 😌 One of the best places we have stayed in a long time. The greenery, the sound of water, birds chirping along with fantastic views and a pool to relax. Rooms are comfortable and tidy. The owners mum a keen gardner personally overlooks the place and came to meet us . Thanks you gave us a memorable stay Only wish we had booked more days..... A must visit place

Amazing wellness property to hike, bike and enjoy luxury in nature. Grad villa and architectural marvel. We loved the horticulture therapy including plucking tea, mango picking. The staff was just amazing provided an unforgettable short stay. Definitely mark to come back!

We loved the location, it's on a hill and you can see the river below. There is plenty of space inside and outside the villa. We had an amazing tour of the land surrounding the villa and it was nice to see how people work and live there. The team took very good care of us and made sure we had the best time there. The food was truly amazing, a great expiriance of Sri Lankan national dishes. We will definitely be coming back.

Loved the setting, the house itself is beautiful and the location is amazing for the views and the river. The staff were so helpful always there if you needed anyone. We didn't expect to have a staff member work so closely, we could call him and he'd be there, he would cook and clean. We had Dylan and did his job so well! Everyone was so friendly and they looked after our driver well. They took us on a jungle trek down to the river making sure everyone was safe. There was building work happening but it did not bother us one bit and the place will be absolutely incredible once it's finished.

The oven appeared to have not been cooked in before but my partner is a chef and loved to cook. The wooden panel by the oven melted and came off. Not that it was a problem but would be good to fix! Nothing else, the stay was incredible!

Beautiful location but far off from shops / village, Food is very good, well prepared and nice menu. Very kind and attentative staff, easy and adequate communication

The villa is not offering drinks soda's / wines / beer so you need to bring yourself

We spent great holidays here, you will be surprised by the gorgeous inner space and terrace with beautiful pool. Nice view to the river valley, amazing paradise birds end flowers.

Super nice and private villa, nice staff, delicious food. Just a bit difficult to reach and travel if you have no car or scooter
