Great service and great food! Butler service is exceptional and all our needs were met within minutes. We traveled with our family of four and I must say this place is a gem away from the busy city life. Beautiful views and very calm environment surrounded by nature. Staff very welcoming, attentive and helpful. The service was that of a five start hotel standard. About half hour drive from Kandy, it's located by the Mahaweli river and has a beautiful pool. Special thanks goes to our Butler Mayantha for being very professional and giving us a five star experience. Definitely recommended.

Everything was perfect and we got what we paid for. nothing to complain about.

We are really greatful for nice stay at this wildlife resort! The staff were exceptional and helpful. The place - the really calm beauty island in the jungles. We loved the warm pool and the view from it. We recommend rice & curry at the restaurant. Huge windows to the river, jungle and pool and nice terrace for tea, and jungle sounds early in the morning. Children saw monkeys, lizards, bats, birds in the yard.

Not suitable for those who afraid of ants, lizards or other creatures. It is hard to remove them from the nature, so from the resort too. But we expected this so it did not bother so much. No toilet paper (muslim or eco style toillet). A bit away from Kandy (40 min by tuk tuk), but totally worth due to stress free oasis and nature.

THE VIEW OF RIVER AND SOUNDS OF BIRDS ARE GREAT TO SEE AND ITS COMPLETELY MAKING US CALM AND AND PEACEFUL MIND THE MAKE OF CABANA IS NO 101 IS REALLY HAS GOOD VIEW AND GREAT WAY TO DESIGNED, FACILITIES ARE GREAT, THE STAFFS ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND SUPPORTIVE 👍 THE BOATING, FOOD AND LOOK OF OTHER CABANAS ARE GREAT 👍 , ITS MADE US FELT LIKE WE STAY IN A HEAVEN - BECAUSE WE BELIVE ITS GIVING SUPER PEACEFUL MIND WITH GREAT VIEW OF THE NATURE SO I WISH KANDY CABANA CAN GO AHEAD BIG SUCESS WITH KEEPING THE PLACE SAME AS NOW AS PEACEFUL AND CALM PLACE LOVED IT 😍 - I RECOMEND SRILANKA BUSINESSMANS AND COUPLE ALL OF THE PEOPLES WHO NEED PEACEFULL AND CALM LIFE LETS VISIT TO THE HEAVEN

It's better to call the cabana and ask permission from guest to visit the cabana any purpose is feel good for guest privacy or good way to keep contact the guest

The rooms are really beautiful. The staff are so nice and well organised. There is one guy that does literally everything for you. We really liked the calm and the view on the river. We stayed there to make some trips around kandy which was really good for it. The Center of Kandy is not really nice so this place was perfect to chillout. We really liked our stay! We got the food served in the room every day which was nice.

The food was more the quality of ordinary local food but priced like high quality food, in our opinion. Theres no mosquito net so bring antirepellant! Everything else was great.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kandy Cabana Hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The serene atmosphere, coupled with attentive service, made for a delightful experience. Amazing service, great food and great location among the nature, though it's little far from city. however how then you can experience that nature as its pristine state. We have been there from India celebrating our Anniversary and can't forget all personalized efforts the staff made to make us feel special on the special day, my bad.. as I writing review after a while, not able to recall the name of person, many Thanks, god bless!! Would recommend the Kandy Cabana very highly.

Nothing as such, things were all perfect us there.

View is amazing, you can see river and some smaller animals running in the morning, all from bed :) Terrace is great for the morning coffee and meditation Interior of cabaña is completely wooden, very well made. Bathroom also very nice and functional

Maybe noise isolation is not so good, you can hear birds but also people from the pool (next to cabaña)

We travelled as a couple. The location & staffs are great. And everything exceeded our expectations. The room is spacious, and they are better than the pictures. Our 2 night stay in here was wonderful. I would recommend this to everyone who loves a silent and private place to stay. Great value for money.

Stunning location, breathtaking views, kind and helpful staff and service. Liked that it’s eco friendly too, though a few plastic water bottles crept through.

The bathrooms were left wanting, as the water wasn’t draining well, and could do with more clothes hooks.

The place was so nice and the staff were super friendly. It’s quite place. And the view was beautiful.

Insects are found in abundance in such places, which requires placing insect repellents in the rooms.
