We arrived in the evening when it was dark, rainy, and cold, unsure of what to expect—but the staff made us feel welcome and at ease right from the start. Their warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for our stay. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious—thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The property is exceptionally well run, with attention to every detail to ensure a comfortable experience. The heated blankets were a particularly thoughtful touch on such a chilly night. We only stayed one night, but next time, we’ll definitely be staying longer!

We enjoyed our stay at The CheRiz very much. Sathmini and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and were always available. Since I had a twisted ankle, I couldn't leave the bed for two days. The staff gave me ice in a plastic bag and asked us couple of times if they can be helpful in any way. We ordered room service a couple of times, the food was very tasty and also nicely presented. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and we had a very nice view of tea plantations.

The prices of food and the breakfast are a bit too high in comparison with other hotels with similar quality.

Absolutely AMAZING stay at the CheRiz! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and had the most stunning view! The amenities were top-notch, and we loved the freshly made food ! But what truly made our stay special was the exceptional service. The team were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. We can't recommend Cheriz enough! If you're looking for a luxurious and memorable stay, look no further.

Well I do travel alone, and I’m very picky. I like when everything is perfect. And very glad I chose this hotel I do love everything, very perfect location, once you enter you would be greeted highly in the hotel a lot of fresh flowers what’s give great smell, the interior, colors and design are so matching . I can’t say even staff because, all people there make you feel like a home, a big thank you everyone to Uohani was always take care of me and helpful, as well like chef the food was very delicious and tasty. Like you gonna feel like a home ppl was treating very warm, was touched my soul . ( it’s been my birthday, once I back from my tour they congratulated me was very unexpected 😍😍) . About my room, was with all panorama view on green tee terrace. Very big and clean room. Really beautiful view from any angle. In Nuwara Eliya was a bit cold those time , but again in the room was enough warm. All the things and furniture was new and clean . They have jacuzzi also with a good view was very good experience. Definitely recommend it

The owners of the property who live in New Zealand happen to be there while we were there and were extremely helpful and nice as were the staff. The place is well located only a little bit outside the city and is well designed, clean and comfortable. Thought was very obvious put into the design as well as the small things that make your stay comfortable like bed warmers and music systems in rooms. Good hot water and spacious bathroom as well as comfortable beds

The wifi was very difficult to use given how slow it was and wont do if you work remotely. Breakfast was quite pricey at 15 usd a person although we got a discount

We really loved the room itself and how big it was! Very clean, comfortable (plenty of heating) and really nice bathroom! We had a welcome drink on arrival and in the evening some complimentary coffee and snacks! Staff were incredibly helpful and got our Tuktuk started in the morning for us! Thank you!

We paid for the panoramic views for the…well views. However it was so misty and rainy we couldn’t see anything at all! Whilst obviously this isn’t the hotels fault it’s just something to consider for other people considering paying extra for the panoramic room. Breakfast, whilst delicious, was the most expensive breakfast by far we paid whilst in Sri Lanka. Wi-Fi also kept cutting out and was one of the few places without phone signal.

Hospitality. You have exceptional staff, Sathmini was helping us beyond and Shibu was such a hard working person, he helped us so much with bags, with plates with cutlery. Chef was amazing, he accomodated our food requirements so well that we were impressed.there was one more staff member who along with Shibu helped us with everything during our stay. I give 5 stars to all your staff for making our stay memorable

Firstly - the staff here are absolutely exceptional. So friendly and can’t do enough to help you. The hotel is beautiful, our room was upgraded, which was amazing, but we were also more than happy with the original room! The breakfast is delicious, we had an early start one morning and they even provided us with a packed breakfast to take with us! Would really recommend staying here!
