We recently stayed at Forest View Lodge and had a fantastic experience! The cleanliness of the lodge was exceptional, with spotless rooms and a fresh, inviting ambiance throughout. The staff clearly takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of hygiene, which added to our comfort. The food was absolutely delicious – from dinner to the well-thought-out breakfast spread, everything was prepared to perfection. Breakfast offered a wonderful variety, catering to different tastes with fresh, tasty options. We felt truly looked after and would highly recommend Forest View Lodge for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with top-notch food and impeccable cleanliness

Beautiful location, the mist and cold winds roll in late afternoon. The rooms are heated, cozy and comfortable. The staff member present attended to all out needs and was simply brilliant. Food was simple and ordered through a restaurant nearby and the potions were decent as well. Good value for money and tasty.

We travelled with our nearly three year old baby and the balcony outside in the common area doesn't have a secure guard rail. There's a 15foot or so drop to the other side so that was something we had to be weary about. There were other guests that were quite loud way into the night and started the same fairly early in the morning the next day as well. This was quite a nuisance although the fault if primarily with those travelers who were a bunch of inconsiderate young men.

The caretake Vinith and Sathis were humble caretakers. They both did a good job in accommodating our request. Location was good and calm.

Bathroom doors cannot be locked and hot water not available all the time. Building needs a bit of refurbishment although it was quite nice place. Not all rooms have forest view.

The hotel is decent enough, the facilities are reasonable enough and accomodating staff.

The drive to the hotel is very steep, and it's a bit inside. Not an easy access when you wan to go outside for a stroll or want to get something.

Cleanliness was bad. Toilets are smelly. There is NO HOT WATER there, so it was very difficult to shower with the weather in Nuwara Eliya. Cannot recommend for travelling with children.

The view is good and service also better and friendly. Comfortable for kids and stay with free mind. Food are delicious 😋.

We booked 2 rooms on BB. Nice & safe location, friendly staff, nicely arraged breakfast with three options (Roty, Rice & curry, western). Bathrooms well cleaned. Dinner also supplied in good quality as per our request (additionally from nearby restaurant)

A room heater mounted in one room didn't produce enough heat.

Friendly staff and nice location. There is an open area which faced to a mountain view and that was really good and felt calm.. Food was really good and tasty. The bathroom was clean.

The room is a bit tidy and the road is narrow and steep.

very spacious and comfortable room, we had a heater which was very handy. breakfast was great and the staff was so helpful and attentive! we also ordered dinner with them and the food was excellent!
