It is a beautiful property and very well maintained. As the name suggests, the inside decor very well resembles to a castle. The staff were also great. Will definitely recommend.

On reaching the property, we were informed that there will be no dinner from due to non-availability of chef. Given the location is hill top so during evening you need a vehicle to come down at the marketplace for food. Luckily we had a car, so even though it got dark we managed. It would have been good, if they informed before as the location is away from the market. Having said that, it could be a one off day but would recommend to do timely communication in future.

We absolutely loved it. We had the whole castle to ourselves. The rooms are super spacious and the bathroom was amazing. The host was so accomodating, helped us with organising travel into town. Breakfast was amazing, we couldn’t eat it all but was delicious. The welcome drink was tea from the local area and it was so delicious. It was super clean and smelled amazing. I would book it again in a heartbeat. Thank you to all the staff!!

Literally the most magical view of Nuwara Eliya from their lawn! Beautifully maintained lawn. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, though room could be better. Great warm water pressure in the morning. 15 minute Tuk tuk ride to city center. Helpful staff.

The rest of the carpeted victorian vibe is nice-ish but would suggest the management to change the upholstered bed headboards in the room. Because no matter how hard your staff tries, it is always going to be dusty and might dampen experience of your guests.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We arrived in the afternoon and got a room last minute; it wasn’t available for 2 nights and the staff had no problem getting another room ready for us the next morning right at check out, so we just moved our bags there. The tuk tuks they ordered were punctual and all gave us better prices than those from town (about 10 min ride). String hoppers & curry for breakfast was super tasty and great portions. We simply told them what time we would like it and it was on time. Service here was fantastic, thanks guys! The room was also quite luxurious; very comfortable bed, thick curtains to block sun, and piping hot showers. Really enjoyed our stay :)

We booked this on a whim to break up our road trip journey from Kandy to Ella and we are so happy we did. Great views of course - like a post card. Misty a lot but that made it even more fairytale. The village spread out below us on the hillside made us feel like we were in a remake of the Sound of Music but it was also the hotel itself - We had the spacious family room with red carpet like royals lol. Mirror over our bed was something our friends joked about. Bathroom also lovely and meals delicious in the hall outside our room as well as a generous breakfast the next day - plenty of choice m. Also excellent wifi

This is the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka. I won't go back to Sri Lanka, but I can at least advice other people to come back here for me. The room was beautiful, spacious and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The Wi-Fi was the best we ever had. The bathroom was clean. The view was pretty. The building looked magnificent. I loved the long narrow balcony that continued to the other side of the room. The garden looked classic and luxurious. Also, it wasn't very damp, which I did expect in the mountains. Our parking spot for our tuktuk was next to our hotel and beside the garden, which was perfect. We had our vegan dinner from room service and the taste was very good.

My partner did not like the smell they used for the rooms. I think they were mothballs? I didn't mind though, I kind of liked the smell. Also, if you park at the hotel, there is a steep way to the parking spot. So if your breaks don't work, you will fall off the mountain, as there is no gate to protect you...

Breakfast have to improve little bit

When I stay there I went shopping to food city when I come back around 22:00 the whole place is locked , there is bell switch I try many times no one is respond I have to wait more then hour and and call my wife she came open main door and I should jump from hotel gate. This is unacceptable. Sorry to say this.

The view is simply breathtaking, it’s an amazing experience having breakfast/ coffee outside in the morning!

The room was quite cold and there was no heating, we asked for a heater but they didn’t have any available. The shower alternated water temperature, so at some point it might be too hot, then regular or regular, then too cold. Also, the towels were stained.

We stayed for two nights in the second week of December. The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and the environment beautiful. We also had heaters. Note: The food will not be delayed. If you call the reception to order and let them know the time, they will be punctual. We asked them to bring breakfast to our room at 9 AM, and they arrived on time. This was the same for both dinner and lunch. We did not experience any delays

It was an amazing place to stay with loads of character. The staff were always helpful with anything we needed and the room was made up each day, they even folded our clothes and went over and above with room cleanliness. It’s a little out of town but we wanted that for something a bit quieter. It cost around 600 rupees in a tuk tuk to town. I highly recommend staying here.
