This was my second stay at Mandara Rosen Kataragama, and certainly not the last! This hotel continues to impress me with its excellent service, comfortable rooms, and quiet atmosphere. The welcoming by the staff at the front desk upon arrival was so warm. Spacious, clean, and well-appointed rooms make for the perfect combination of luxury and relaxation. It's a very good location from which to tour Kataragama, especially since Yala National Park is nearby and just a short drive. I also appreciated the food: delicious meals that cater to all tastes. This visit was equally memorable to my first and I will go again soon. Highly recommend! 😊🌟🌟

I had the pleasure of staying at Mandara Rosen Kataragama. I can easily assure one that it was an experience one would hardly ever forget. It was a perfect combination of comfort and luxury from its friendly staff to its comfortable, clean, and well-appointed rooms. Food was superb, with mouthwatering local and international cuisine to suit every palate. There was also an outdoor pool and the gardens, which were well maintained, adding to the tranquil atmosphere; this was a perfect site at which to relax.🍃💐 I highly recommend the place for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat amidst nature in Sri Lanka.⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'll be back!

The Mandara Rosen in Kataragama offers a comfortable and well-maintained room with a garden view and modern bathroom. The hotel's serene surroundings and greenery make it a peaceful retreat.I particularly loved the garden view, where I even spotted a few Tufted Langurs—it really brought nature closer to the stay. 🐒 🍃 The bathroom was modern, with excellent water pressure and plenty of amenities. The pool area is ideal for relaxation after visiting temples and wildlife. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the dining options are satisfactory. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and culturally enriching stay.🌟🌟

It’s an amazing property located within the center of Kataragama and surrounded by serene gardens. Ideal location for a family retreat and we throughly enjoyed our stay . Hotel staffs are absolute gem and very courteous who ensured every aspect of our stay are closely followed up and supported . Breakfast was amazing and had many varieties and the swimming pool was large and had a big area for kids which made my daughter extremely an happy guest .

It was indeed a pleasant stay. Hospitality was superb, they provided the best service to meet our requirements. Rooms are specious, well arranged, clean & comfortable even the meals are tasty too. Breakfast buffet had lot of varieties. Located within few km’s from Kararagama Dewalaya & Kirivehera which is an extra advantage.

Beds were confortable. Swimming was big. Food was great. Staff members really lovely.

There was lot of light at night in the room. It was not dark enough. Some staff in the restaurant area did not understand much, so I asked for a sparkling water and I got a still water.

Large spacious room with large verandah with garden. Very co-operative and friendly staff. Comfortable stay.

Beds were creaking upon sitting down. The wi-fi was not working but they fixed it. No plug points around the bed for phone charging. No soap tray in the shower area.

Comfortable hotel in Kataragama. New facility with modern amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful and the check-in/Check-out process was smooth and hassle free. Restaurant food was excellent. Being right in town, the location was perfect for our needs.

Nothing that we didn't like about this property

The room was very comfortable and situated facing the orchard (mango trees) in natural surroundings. Monkeys swinging from trees to trees was a great sight.

Staff could be a bit more helpful and could maintain enough stock of electric plug adapters.
