The hotel is situated across the street from a small beach access, and about 15min walk from the main beach. The lobby and restaurant are GORGEOUS, and the food is pretty good, especially for the price. The pool is beautiful and so lovely to use, we almost didn't need to go to the beach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. They are renovating and updating rooms - the new rooms are incredibly nice. Finally, the staff were amazing - they constantly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. When we got into our room, we were getting settled and before we even noticed, the staff came in to tell us they were concerned that they'd heard an odd noise from the AC - they immediately upgraded our room and had a repair person out. Truly a lovely stay, on par with many of the much more expensive luxury resorts we saw. They're working on adding a rooftop and expanded facilities, and we definitely want to return to see what they do!

Water pressure was ok, but pretty standard for this area. Some ants and tons of mosquitoes outdoors, but again, par for the course.

The stay at the hotel was perfect. The staff is very caring and attentive, always ready to help. Delicious and hearty breakfasts. I would like to mention the restaurant at the hotel. Tuna steak was amazing, so tasty we have not eaten anywhere in Sri Lanka, served wonderful very high quality coffee. Comfortably equipped, spacious and clean rooms, beautiful bathroom. A special love is the pool area. There are flowers and bushes blooming around, birds singing, the water in the pool is clean and warm, there is a shower and towels, you can take drinks to the pool, thought out areas with shade to avoid getting burned. We fell in love with the place and the people and dream of coming back here again with friends to show them this wonderful place.

Lovely restaurant with well-priced, varied menu. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, and eggs to order. Comfortable bedroom with a lovely balcony overlooking Coconut Hill Rock and the sea beyond. Nice swimming pool surrounded by jungle, and visited by families of monkeys at dusk! Pool table, football table, games, small library, comfortable public area. An easy 15 minute walk to the nearest beach and the main town, other cafes and restaurants nearby, as well as two Buddhist temples, very interesting to visit. Highly recommended, we will definitely return!

Slight noise from the road, but not a problem.

The hotel is ideally located just behind the Coconut Tree hill and a 10-min walk from Mirissa beach. Yet, it's very quiet and lends itself for a relaxing time. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, with a private balcony, while the hotel offers amazing common spaces including a pool and garden, restaurant, pool tables, reading corners, bar etc. Really good breakfast with variety and also a very good restaurant with local and Western options. Laundry service available at extra cost. All staff members are very friendly and polite.

The rooms did not have a hair dryer - but there is one available upon request at the reception. Wifi not so stable.

Lovely stay here. The room was clean and the bed was huge and very comfortable with a clean mosquito net around it. Big shower separate from the rest of the bathroom so no issues with the floor getting wet. Breakfast was good as well. Really nice location, would recommend sunset bar across the road at the beach right beside coconut tree hill. Lovely sunset from there. Lots of tuktuks outside the hotel if you want to go to mirissa beach or more into town but it is walkable.

Pool wasn't as nice as in the photos. Some of the beds were a bit worn and the pool didn't look very clean. We spent our time at the beach so not a huge issue.

We LOVED STAYING HERE!!! The rooms are spacious and the beds are extremely large (king size) and are incredibly comfy. The pool is also an infinity pool, with monkeys often jumping in the trees behind. The venue has lots of games with a pool table.the staff are kind and genuinely interested in making sure your stay in Mirissa is incredible. GREAT location right across from coconut treee, where everyone goes to watch the sunset. You can also swim with turtles 5 min walk from here. We did yoga next door every morning and surfed in the afternoon. Will definitely rebook when we return to Mirissa, couldn't recommend more.

Firstly, the staff were absolutely amazing, everyone was so helpful. The managers were always on hand to happily organise trips/ taxis & advise on anything else needed. However as per other reviews, the hotel is tired & needs some tlc. The owner needs to give it a lick of paint & make some minor repairs to remove that sad & neglected feel . The hotel is in a lovely location, directly opposite Coconut Hill & 5 mins to Turtle beach. For the fabulous staff, the way they look after their guests & its great location, its definitely value for money & i would still recommend a stay there.

Our family room was a very spacious room with large beds. There is a beautiful pool, the gardens are lovely and the hotel is close to (quieter) Turtle beach - yes - on both occasions that we snorkelled, we saw turtles. Breakfast constituted some Sri Lankan and some continental options. The kids loved the crepes. We enjoyed playing pool every night, too. Tuk tuks readily available to get to the middle of town.

Very little. We had a lovely stay. Staff were friendly but somewhat reserved. It is only a minor suggestion, but little labels at the breakfast buffet to identify foods would have been helpful. There were some things I would have liked to have tried but wasn't sure what they were and in what context to use / eat them!

Great, clean hotel in a good location very near Coconut Tree Hill and a small quiet beach. Good view from our room with a balcony. Breakfast was very good, a buffet with lots of choices. Lovely swimming pool around the back of the hotel. Staff were friendly and polite, and especially Hasi the manager who was very helpful. They had just opened a new rooftop bar, which is huge and looks amazing.
