The property, location, and staff all exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and deeply quiet. The shower pressure and hot water was amazing! The staff were attentive to our every need. The food was great with a lot of variety. The pool was a simply magnificent experience every day. We felt deeply rested and recharged from our stay at Ahas Gawwa. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to get off the tourist trail and experience Sri Lanka in all Her hospitality and wilderness.

Please make sure to upgrade Handrail at the restaurant area with strong support to the Walls. It is Shaking. Further, very narrow steps to go down the bed rooms area which is really dangerous specially without a hand rail even. Please extend the steps. Really hard to sleep because bedrooms are just under the kitchen and restaurant. It is a very disturbing noise as restaurant floor is made by wood and no Soundproof installation for the ceiling either. Please make sure to build a accommodation for Drivers and you can charge fair price from your guests. Otherwise no places close by for drivers accommodation.

We had the privilege of staying at Ahas Gawwa lately, and it was an amazing experience. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming atmosphere as soon as we came through the doors, and that feeling continued throughout our stay. The staff is undoubtedly one of its greatest assets. Every member of the team, from the front desk to housekeeping, went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay. Their attention to detail and commitment to exceptional customer service truly made us feel like a valued guest. They did a small decoration for my Birthday and that day was a memorable one with their exceptional service. The accommodations were simply exquisite. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep.

We rented the whole hotel so for us is was perfekt as we did not stay up long nights. But the rooms underneath the restaurant is a bit noisy, but honestly that's the only remark i have. We had a perfect stay.

It's a stunning location, the view is amazing and the pool is super nice. It's in the middle of a tea plantation and there are a lot of beautiful plants, trees, animals, frogs and so on. The surrounding has lots to offer and we would highly recommend to visit the waterfalls nearby. The management was super nice and cooperative. We wanted to leave 1 day earlier as that was more convenient for our trip and they changed our booking without any doubt or costs. Also, they were so kind to send one of their staff members with us on a little trip as a guide. Rahul was truly amazing. He could tell us everything about Buddhism, the temples we visited, tea plantation and he brought us to that amazing waterfall. He (and thus Ahas Gawwa) really made our day. We would highly recommend this place to stay.

Their waiting staff could need more hospitality training as the service felt unprofessional at times. Luckily they were more then able to make up for this by being so accomodating and friendly.

One of the best boutique hotels I've ever visited. Very greeny, close to the nature on top of a beautiful mountain. Rooms are new, spacious and well organized. Bed is comfy. All facilities are there inside the room. Toiletries, towels, tea coffee making facility, mini fridge is there. Good WiFi connection and Sat TV is there. Pool is clean, well maintained and located on a very nice location with infinity view. Food is tasty and served hot. Staff is really friendly, caring, polite and Very helpful. Booking/ reservation process was really easy and never had a problem from online reservation to check out. Few points to be noted: There are still some construction going on inside the hotel premises. So there are some kid-unfriedly areas. So if you're visiting with kids be on alert. Though the food was tasty, the menu is small and choices are less. Those should be improved. Specially deserts choices are very minimal. The road to the hotel could be improved but it's a different kind of a challenge. Overall very nice and a happy stay ♥️ 9.8/10

The views, the food and the friendliness of the staff!

Some of the rooms are right below the restaurant so can be quite noisy with movement of chairs and footsteps above. I mentioned this to the staff on the first night and they moved my room - so they were very helpful and I appreciated the room change. That being said, if you’re not planning to spend much time in the room it won’t matter.

An unique place with relaxation and comfort. Very close to Colombo. The place was wonderful, and a very nice view. The staff was super friendly and supportive. Food were so much delicious. Hats off to the chef and the fellow staff. The service was incredible with excellent conditions in the rooms. Rooms were spacious , clean and tidy. The view from there is fabulous. Surrounded by ranges of mountains it was so relaxing. Pool was wonderful and quite a view from there. At night could see the entire city of Colombo from the restaurant area. Highly recommended !
