The hosts were absolutely kind and helpful. We arrived late in the night and we didn't have problems with check-in , we even asked if we could have breakfast later and it wasn't a problem. The room was kept clean and the sheets were changed. The garden is kept in a beautiful state by the owners and it is a paradise when enjoying your coffee in the morning I would definitely recommend this location to anyone

Breeze of Paradise is an ideal place to stay if you desire a tranquil break from the commotion of Colombo. It is located down a zig-zag alley away from street noise. Suresh is the owner/proprietor. He was a kind and thoughtful host who was very helpful. He also serves his guests delicious coffee and ginger tea! My room was very clean and comfortable, not fancy but just what I wanted. There was hot water for showering, filtered water for drinking and the most delicious breakfasts in Colombo. It is a small establishment with just a few rooms and a lovely ambiance. It is not within walking distance to major landmarks but you can easily take a tuk tuk. Breeze of Paradise is excellent value. Highly recommended!

The stay at Breeze of Paradise was one of the best stays in Sri Lanka. The facilities were as described and the host has maintained the facilities. The functional kitchen helped us prepare small meals for our kid. The hosts displayed an exceptional level of hospitality. We recommend the place for any family that wants to spend a few days in Colombo. Suresh and Kalhari make sure you have a comfortable stay.

Suresh is an excellent host.The very reasonably priced air-conditioned rooms are in a big bungalow, which is located a little bit far away from the center of Colombo, but that adds to its attraction as it is away from the hustle bustle of this busy city.We had dinner at a very good price.The breakfast,too was lovely. There is a bakery and a supermarket at a walking distance. What more could anyone want? Highly recommended!

Absolutely nothing.

Very friendly owner who anticipated all our needs, and we felt like home. Calm and beautiful place, nice and well-kept garden, spacy private terrace was available for our room, and sometimes in the garden you can see a monkey, a mongoose or a bat :) Rooms are pretty clean, one can use the fridge in the kitchen or e.g. take cups/plates. Big supermarket and alko shop is in 5 mins. The owner also allowed us to keep our bags for free for almost two weeks while we were travelling outside Colombo. The next big thing is food! We tried both breakfasts and dinners here, and it was the best food provided by the hotel in our 3-week Sri Lanka trip. Suresh will ask you about the menu, so both local and European food may be served, and if you ask for “no spicy”, it really will be like that :) Food was diverse, portions are big, and served exactly in time! Summarizing, I think it is really good balance between hospitality and calmness (so no excessive service!), quite nice atmosphere and super good price for that quality! I would definitely advise this place.

We were warmly welcome by Suresh and his family. The property is quiet, with a nice garden. The room is clean, comfortable with fan and A/C and hot water shower. The wifi works well. There is a fountain of water so we can refill our bottle. The breakfast is fresh, tasty, delicious, a fantastic journey of exploration. The breakfast was a time to share, talk and laugh. There are local tasty restaurant at walkable distance and a supermarket. The bus 138 is less than 5 min walk from the guesthouse and brings you to the city center, around 20 minutes from tourists areas.

Nothing, except come with mosquito repellent and sun cream.

As the name says it is really a breeze of paradise in a busy Colombo. The beautiful garden and spacious clean room. with attached bathroom with hot water and the Host who is willing to help whenever you need was eveything we liked about this property. It is very near to all the Colombo has to offer and once you are at the property you can relax as it has this beautiful private garden very unusual in Colombo.

Nothing we didn’t like and we will come back again

This place is literally a garden of serenity - nestled in the suburbs of Colombo. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean with good AC and shower. The hosts are wonderful people who clearly love what they do. Suresh will be able to advise you on local activities, or even where to buy a charger or buy reading glasses 🤓I’ll be back!

I loved the warm welcome I received & the hosts were very friendly. They were exceptionally good, kind & couldn't do enough to make my stay comfortable. The room was very clean, spacious & was located less than a couple of minutes from the main road. Also it has a large well maintained beautiful garden. The hotel is well equipped with all the modern facilities & clean right through out. I would love to stay there again.

The owners and staff where exceptional. The kindest and friendliest and so helpful,From the moment of booking up until leaving. Very clean, tidy and the most delicious breakfast with fresh fruit daily.

Even thou the house is set back away from the streets the coming g and goings of the others can be noisy. But really not a big disturbance.
