The location was in central Wellawatte and was fit for purpose, we were there to visit family and it was located at walking distance. The staff were all very friendly and were accustomed to our family and accommodating with a toddler. The food at the restaurant was exceptional and offered a variety of dishes full of flavour. The room was huge and it didn't feel like we were in a hotel at all, equipped with all the necessary facilities- AC/ kettle/great shower/ tv with a range of channels including kids. We were even able to visit their pool, which although was not huge, it was very rarely occupied and only 4 ft so perfect for a swim with our toddler.
From the outside the hotel- it looks run down and even the corridors were not well lit which gave of a very worn old hotel- but the facilities were good, the staff were so friendly and the restaurant was amazing. The restaurant offered a range of foods including western food like noodles etc but these were not that great- the traditional food is well recommended and much nicer. Very little negatives to quote.

At a time when Srilanka is facing a crisis in dwindling tourist dollars, we found the facilities and the staff exceptionally courteous and helpful. Though the meals were not upto the usual standard, we understood their sitiation. We would not hesitate to visit the place whenever we go to SL again.
Under the circumstances, we have nothing to complain.
