Decent pool. Nice rooms with TV. Kayak is also available to be used in the shallow pond next to the house. Staff were very friendly and I recommend having dinner at the restaurant.

Sheets were not clean. Location was a little bit hard to get to, but that may have just been due to my inexperienced driver.

Our room was lovely. So comfortable and welcoming. Loved the outdoor feel to the bathroom. All so clean. Simple yet satisfying The staff are exceptional. Anticipated our every need without fussing. Really helpful and always smiling and busy. The food was excellent and tailored to our tastes. We love hot & spicy!! The pool was delightful and a welcome wake up in the morning and cool down in the afternoon. The water was super clean. Just some of the tiles need a little tlc. The quiet beach is in easy walking distance and is super. It’s clean and welcoming had it all to ourselves. The local fishermen were going quietly about their day. A lone king coconut seller was very kind and chatty. Seth Villa is such a relaxing place to be. The host although not at the villa was so helpful before we arrived and the high standard of care was taken over by his staff as soon as we arrived. We even had a friendly chat with his daughter when she came home from school. What a delight she is. We are already looking forward to returning soon with friends. They will love all that we did plus the lagoon turtles that swim up for a nightly visit. We were able to enjoy nature at its calmest. It was so much fun spotting the many different varieties of bird from this haven that is Seth Villa

Tastefully decorated, spacious rooms with fridge. Very comfortable bed. Relaxing atmosphere, chilling by the pool or watching the numerous bird species and the turtles in the lake. A beautiful, nearly-deserted beach very close by, where you can see local fishermen pulling the nets and give them a hand if you are willing.. Nice food and eager-to-please staff.

No local shops nearby and not many alternative restaurants (but the food is very good at Seth's anyway so we were happy to eat there every night!) Credit cards not accepted yet.

Nova, the host and staff were excellent and really looked after us! He’d even brought some delicious red wine back from Milan and sold it at the property (it was really nice, and I don’t even like red wine normally!!) We were made to feel very welcome! There is a pretty lake to look out onto and we fed the terrapins and monitor lizards which was pretty cool!

We booked the accommodation as a treat because it had a swimming pool so paid a bit extra but the pool was a little tired and had some tiles missing.

House built between a very long wild beach and a lagoon, with a swimming pool, bar, and terrace. Absolutely quiet, authentic, and with a very helpful host (who speaks very good English, which is not so common in Sri Lanka). It's more of a "guest house / eco lodge" than a resort. In the immediate surroundings, the lagoon and the beach are beautiful, offering opportunities for nature activities such as turtle watching at Rekawa.

What a wonderful, beautiful peaceful place to enjoy!! We travel the world this is definitely one of our favourites, basic rooms but very comfortable, Good food & a Beautiful place to sit and enjoy, Fantastic staff!! Beach 100 meters away, even a lovely swimming pool, we came for one night but stayed for 4 & did not want to leave!! Thank you Noah ( the owner) you have a Wonderful place, we will return!!! Totally recommend

location was excellent - the property itself doesn’t have a sign but Google maps is accurate. Room was nice, all was clean. Dinner and Breakfast were good, and fairly priced. We pretty much had the place to ourselves, well us, the dogs and the wildlife from the lagoon which this backs on to.

The ends of the double bed drove me nuts as I would continuously smash my legs in to the corners. the pool could do with a little tlc (missing a few of those tiny tiles, nothing major)

Seth Villa was located in a quiet, peaceful part of Tangalle, a 30 minute drive to the hustle and bustle but only a 2 minute walk to essentially your own private beach! The room was really comfortable and airy, the A/C was a huge bonus! We enjoyed the breakfast available and the dinners on offer.

Swimming pool, Spacious room, Helpful and friendly people, Close to sea (wild beach), Restaurant at place with nice breakfast, Surrounding nature, 10 minutes ride to a place where turtles are appearing.

For me it was not disadvantage but you need to be prepared for staying on the beach without any infrastructure, so it may be challenging to find a shadow.
