Beautiful villa with only five rooms and a beautiful pool, beautiful beach and sea view, direct beach access from the property (a 5km very uncrowded nearly private beach) and most of all wonderful staff and food! The manager Kamal, the barmann Mithum, the chef Lasandha as well as the other service staff (especially the guy cleaning the rooms, but we don’t know the name) went above and beyond to make this a memorable stay with great food and great drinks! Highly recommend to also try the Sri Lankan breakfast as it was delicious!

Heads up: don’t plan to work from the villa as WiFi and phone service is limited as the property is off the beaten path

Everything . This is a truly gorgeous villa. The house is so comfortable and well appointed. The really special thing however is how wonderful the staff are . Kamal led a fantastic team that included Mitun, Lalith, Dilukshan, Lasantha and Lakshitha . All of whom were were absolutely amazing . Excellent towel art too!! Kamal organised a fantastic party for a birthday while we were there with a great band and fireworks . Thank you to the whole team for making a great property a truly exceptional plane to be . We will be back !

Nothing !! The property is isolated- this is part of the charm and there are very few options to choose from eg other restaurants but the chef at the villa was great so this is not an issue

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our trip as a bit of R&R after a busy time exploring Sri Lanka. We were welcomed by Kamal and his team who provided absolutely fantastic service throughout the entire stay. Special mention to Mithun for taking extra care of us and Lakshmi for his superb towel art in the bedrooms! The villa is absolutely gorgeous and has a lovely pool as well as direct access to the beach. The food prepared the entire stay was delicious! The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had the best stay!

The only constructive feedback we would provide is that there is no mirror or fridge in the bedroom!

The swimming pool is nice and the direct access on the beach. The staff are always smiling. They provide beach towels and the view from the room is great

There is no fridge in the room so we had to ask the staff to use the fridge downstairs. Walking in pyjamas at 3am to drink some fresh water is not the best. The staff apart from the manager does not speak much English. There is only one massage table so we walk 30min to be able to get a couple massages at the same time. And it takes too long to have your breakfast (1h to 1h30min)

Just a fabulous place to stay. You felt as if you were a special guest at a private villa. The hotel was stylish, immaculate and right on a long quiet sandy beach. Kamal, the Manager, just had a lovely way about him and nothing was too much trouble. The team was always there to help, but somehow unobtrusive. We loved the hotel so much we booked an extra night. We stayed in two different rooms on the first floor, with a balcony overlooking the sea, and both were great. Oh, and the food!!!!! Plentiful and delicious. Special shout out to Lakshan for his towel art and making the table look so lovely on our last night. We are definitely coming back!!

We absolutely loved everything about this stay! Everything was tastfully decorated and the property is in general very well maintained. Gorgeous view of the ocean, pretty much a private beach and nice pool. But what made our last days of our honeymoon extra special was the exceptional service by the wonderful staff. We loved the combination of informality (always open for a chat and a joke) and their on-point service and eye for detail (remembering how you drink your coffee, allergies etc). They even surprised us with a romantic dinner at the beach front, surrounded by torches and flowers and decorated our room (again) while we were dining! Lakshan is a true towel artist!! Special thanks to Mithuu, Lakshan and Kamal for the exceptional service and making our last days extra special. Would recommend to everyone!!

We can recommend to book the regular or super deluxe room which are upstairs, so you have a balcony with a private view!

Great place away from everything. Lovely and big rooms, great airy architecture and right at the beach. While we were there the WiFi was not working well - I would have expected more. The great PLUS of this place is that it is away from everything. But that is also a downside, as you can't easily stroll into town. You will need to get a taxi into Tangalle. But if you are looking for a hideaway and don't mind spending all the time at the hotel then you will find this a very nice place to stay. The staff was very nice, the cooking on-site great (had a very nice fish curry). The beach is lovely and deserted but with strong waves.
