We are incredibly happy that we ended up in this wonderful, quiet place. The hotel is located in a very beautiful corner in the suburbs, there are beautiful nature around, there are several small local shops. The hotel has a wonderful veranda and has everything you need. We ate right at the hotel all 3 days and this is incredibly delicious food, I tried the best curry in Sri Lanka! I want to say thank you to the wonderful hostess! She accepted us as her family, helped us in everything, rejoiced with us. She organized a safari for us to Yala Park, told how we can see turtles on a private beach. We could use bikes. This is a very bright and kind person, this is a very warm place, we left here with tears in our eyes! I rate this place and this house 100/10 🔥✨

We had an amazing 2 night stay at All View Resort. Our host, Priyanthi, was very kind and welcomed us with two huge king coconuts. There is a restaurant on site so we couldn’t resist ordering some rice and curry. She made the best Dahl we’ve had so far in Sri Lanka! Our room was large and spotlessly clean, with A/C, towels, a mosquito net and plenty of storage. We slept so well here as it is very peaceful. The property itself is very well kept, with a beautiful garden. This is a great place for nature lovers, as we spotted peacocks, buffalo, frogs, many kinds of birds, and turtles (as I’ll go on to explain)! Priyanthi can also help to arrange bicycles and canoeing on the lagoon. The property is located a 15 minute drive outside Tangalle and this ended up being hugely advantageous. The beach (only a 10 minute walk from the property) was much quieter and very beautiful. They day we arrived, our host informed us we could see baby turtles hatching and then return later in the evening to see an adult turtle lay her eggs. This is led by a conservation project called Rekawa Turtle Watch, to which you are asked to contribute a small donation. This was definitely the highlight from our time in Sri Lanka. Cannot recommend this accommodation enough!

The location next to the lagoon and only 15 minutes gentle stroll from Rekawa beach rock pool, and lovely beach near the fishing harbour were great. Cool shady terrace to sit and watch the monkeys, birds and water buffalo from. Pryanthi is an amazing host and cook - the place was spotless- AC was great. Best breakfasts and dinners in Sri Lanka - varied and so much that you couldn’t possibly finish it all. Free bikes to get around the sandy quiet lanes if you didn’t fancy the walk. We only had 2 days here and wished we had stayed longer. Turtle beach - watching the turtles laying their eggs then going back to sea was also a highlight - get there late in the evening then it shouldn’t be so busy.

The manager Ravindu was the perfect hostess. Very welcoming and friendly bringing us drinks and tea upon arrival. She organised transport for us to the turtle retreat and cooked the most amazing dinner. Certainly one of the best we had throughout our stay in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was delicious with a huge plate of fresh fruit, lovely local curd , hoppers and sweet pancakes - superb. The lovely open balcony overlooking the garden and pond opposite was a really relaxing and sociable place to meet and chat with fellow guests. Rooms were big with good bathrooms and a four poster bed. We all agreed that it was just a perfect, rural location, so close to the beach and turtles and also had great bird watching opportunities. Quiet and very relaxing - it was our favourite guesthouse throughout our stay. Thank you Ravindu for making us so welcome.

We had a fantastic stay at this family-run hotel! The location is great—very close to the beach and within walking distance of Turtle Beach, where we had the unforgettable experience of watching giant green turtles lay eggs. The hotel is spotless, and both breakfast and dinner were exceptional, offering a mix of authentic Sri Lankan dishes and classic Western options. The owner is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about guests’ comfort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm and memorable stay!

The lady-owner gives the best hospitality in entire Sri Lanka. She makes amazing home made food, with passion and love. She explains a lot about food, ingredients, animals, birds and area around. Room was looking new and clean with good AC and extremely comfortable fresh new beds. She took care of us like a mother. We used the bicycles for free, that was great option to get to the beach. We got huge, good quality breakfast with lots of fruits, eggs, pancakes, curd and honning. The hotel is located out from the city, quiet, peaceful and a huge empty beautiful beach, very relaxing. We spotted a huge turtle at the evening, just by sitting on the beach, without guides etc. The lady-owner helped us to arrange tuktuk trip which her husband is driving for reasonable money. Aswell Safari in Udawalawe with her good friend Jeep driver in National Park. We really recommend to stay here if you looking for lovely people around you, quiet, relaxing time, local food, beach for yourself and clean accommodation. Over all expectations, thank you ❤️

I booked the accommodation because of its quiet location and the host's reviews. I was not disappointed at all. There are numerous birds, especially peacocks, that can be seen all around the property. I found it incredibly beautiful to explore the area by bicycle (available at the accommodation). Very quiet beaches are also within walking distance. The accommodation is very well-maintained and clean. The hosts are incredibly warm and make a big difference compared to other accommodations. The food is incredibly good and everything is freshly prepared. The breakfast is very rich, and since I have a gluten intolerance, I always got a gluten-free version. There are also restaurants in the area, but I also stayed for dinner because it was so good. When leaving, I received a lunch package and was very, very happy with it at the airport. Thank you, I hope to come again!

Exceptional place to stay! Immaculate rooms, incredible food and nature all around. Priyanthi and her small team of ladies looked after us so well during our stay that we were genuinely sad to leave. Their cooking was the best we have ever experienced and we loved the breakfast especially! We stayed in a large, brand new room that was HUGE and would be perfect for families, it was spotless like the other rooms and had a lovely view of the garden. Their kindness was so beautiful and Priyanthi helped us to organise a trip to see the turtles lay eggs and a lagoon kayak experience- both were really great and I would recommend to other travellers. Priyanthi’s place was like being on safari where every day we saw monkeys, water buffalo, amazing birds and wildlife just from the balcony! The walk to the beach is so beautiful where you can immerse yourself in nature. It is a very special place here, Priyanthi and her team work so hard to keep it this way and genuinely care about you and the environment. Thank you for everything, we can’t wait to return!

The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, even the wicker lampshade was dust-free! The bed was very comfortable (firm) and the shower had good water pressure. Priyanthi is unbelievably kind and helped us plan our stay with her. Our reason for coming were the turtles and she is very knowledgeable about them and even lent us her own bicycles to visit them. She cooked us a delicious dinner with 7 (!!!) different curries to go with a whole grilled fish. Every curry was flavoured differently and was very tasty. To find such a clean, comfortable room in a good location AND a kind landlady AND great food in one place for such a good price is a true stroke of luck.

Amazing place. The room is big and really clean. Also beautiful outdoor space. Breakfast and dinner were very delicious, one of the best currys we had. Located in a nice and peaceful location closed to an amazing beach. There you can see turtles at night. The host is such a nice lady, had a great time here. Would recommend to stay here instead of in Tangalle center. Easy to get to the resort by bus and a short TukTuk drive.
