It was a wonderful 2 days in a penthouse with a gorgeous view, an outdoor Jacuzzi, spacious and comfortable. At night, cicadas chirp to pacify sleep, and in the morning birds sing, peacocks walk around the territory. The service of the staff is at the highest level, respect and praise for the work of the guys. The restaurant has delicious lunches and dinners and a new menu every day. Swimming pool, parking, 10 minutes walk to the beach and the magical ocean embraces you with love.

The location of the hotel is wonderful. The view from the room is amazing, you can see the ocean, the sunrise, the sunset, wild animals from your terrace, monkeys are playing every day close to you, peacocks are "singing". The open bathroom is very unique and impressive, and the pool is also. You can swim anytime when you want even night also. The staff is helpful and friendly.

The bed cracks little bit. The breakfast could be a bit more diversified.

Lot of my friends were talking about this property some time ago.We were bit reluctant to book this place for our holiday.It was fantastic experience for all of us.Located the property on soperb location and the ocen view. Excellent food options and we had even few cocktails t rooftop bar overlooking sea..verygood value for money.

I didn't want to check out after 1 day.

We were a bit reluctant to book the hotel actually due to a couple of negative reviews. However, once we arrived to the hotel, they had completed its refurbishments and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We booked room only basis and bought our meals from their ala carte menu. It was a bit overpriced but the food was amazing. Thank you Villa Thawthisa for your great hospitality!

The staff was friendly and attentive, making my experience even more enjoyable. The amenities and cleanliness were top-notch, and the beach access couldn’t have been more convenient since they provided free transport from the hotel to the beach. The kitchen staff were incredibly nice and the food was exquisite. Made many wonderful memories at this amazing hotel!

We spent 6 nights here and can't say enough good things about the place . We went when the situation in sri lanka wasnt good but the staff couldn't help us enough to enjoy our stay. We booked the penthouse suite and it was beautiful, the views from the terrace were stunning. The chef went out of his way to cook us delicious food. The managers were outstanding and helped us get lifts from the airport which wasn't easy with the fuel situation . We would recommend this place to anyone and we will return for sure. Thank you for an amazing time. 👏

Breakfast is not varied ,

We like friendly and professional staff especially the front manager. There is a nice view from the top of the hill from the roof top terrace and second floor rooms. Besides 2 pools hotel has an area on the main Unawatuna beach and free transfer by tuk-tuk. We also noticed a great dinner for Christmas night

Part of the road that leads to the hotel is not good.

The hotel exceeded my expectations with its luxurious amenities, impeccable service, and convenient location. From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I felt welcomed and cared for by the attentive staff. And the food was good amazing and not to point out the view from the room was fabulous
