Arriving by train we were greeted by Falun Classic Car Cruising - quite an experience! The hotel was above and beyond! The front desk staff were exceptional and went so far as to have dinner set aside for our late arrival. All staff were conscientious, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, including helping us arrange our travel to visit Carl Larsson's home in Sundborn. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of choices. Dinners were outstanding which greatly added to the value of our stay. Our rooms were comfortable and quite clean, excellent accommodations.

The hotel exceeded my expectations for comfort and convenience - the room facilities were excellent. The location is convenient for wandering around Falun (if you want to).

The hotel promotes a DB&B option,and a lot of guests took it. The dinner was underwhelming - like an IKEA restaurant without much choice. It is worth knowing there are other restaurants in downtown Falun, although not next to the hotel. The hotel car parking fills up quickly, but there is overflow parking in the street outside (requires EasyPark mobile app).

The hotel is an easy walk away from the train station and close to a variety of restaurant and shops. The copper mine is within walking distance (if you like to walk). Breakfast and dinner were wonderful with a restaurant like atmosphere and a large variety of foods.

Nothing about the hotel! but if you are staying in Falun to see Carl Larson's home and you are traveling by public transit, the bus may not be running and you might have to take a taxi.

Utilities are clean and fresh. Sauna opening hours are until 22, appreciated. Good breakfast buffet.

Poor choice of dishes at the evening meal buffet. No juices just plain water. In addition some dishes end up if one comes half an hour before the closing time. Having in mind my food allergy I didn't have much choice at all and it was not really worth the money, neither was it that one expects from a hotel in this category.

Location was perfect. Close to the transport hub. Located in the centre of town. Room was very clean. Shower was very powerful. I felt very clean. I found the bed very comfortable and the duvet material was very good. Temperature in the room was just right for sleeping. Nice and quiet. Food very nice especially the breakfast, and pancakes! Staff very courteous. Will be returning.

The afternoon coffee and cake was a welcome treat. Both the dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet were ample and tasty with lots of choice and fresh fruit, salads and vegetables. Our room was comfortable and just what we needed for 2 people and 1 dog. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

The cost for the dog was a wee bit expensive since it was a designated pet friendly room anyway?

Staff, cleanliness and breakfast. I particularly liked that there was a staff dedicated to removing used plates and cleaning tables so there were always tables available. This is rarer than one thinks in hotels, cafes, etc. Parking was also easy (in the summer).

The gym could do with a dumbbell set and a leg machine and the hand soap was finito

This perfectly-located hotel is modern and stylish and has everything you could ask for. The concept of including breakfast, dinner and afternoon 'fika' in the price means that it is perfect if you don't want or need to look elsewhere to be fed. Everything is of the highest standard and it is exceptionally clean.

The location is very convenient to train station as well as town center area. All working distances. We had breakfasts and dinners at hotel. We like the way the hotel is setup, for example, no cleaning service during stay and room rate covers both breakfast and dinner. Relax and convenient!

Service was excellent from all the staff. Big + for really hot sauna early in the morning ,and that I was reminded that when I arrived! :-) Easy to access and ok gym, not the biggest . but who cares when you can run through your program and get ready for the day?
