The property looks pretty unremarkable from the outside, so I was very (pleasantly) surprised when I stepped through the doors and saw how cosy, comfortable and inviting they have made the space. It’s absolutely beautiful and whoever designed and decorated really made sure to make it feel like a warm place that you want to spend time in. The room itself was quite small but because of the luxurious touches and friendly atmosphere I was perfectly happy in my little room (where admittedly usually I can feel quite claustrophobic in smaller spaces) Simple things, like the lovely coffee corner, the apples in a bowl, filtered water all available freely makes it feel so welcoming and kind of like you’re at home in some way. The lighting was fantastic - I don’t like overhead lighting and this hotel management has understood the importance of warm light and well thought out light placements to add a sense of comfort and relaxation to the space. The hotel breakfast was top tier. I stay in a lot of hotels and the spread was amazing and excellent quality. But also the setting with those beautiful murals and that reworked courtyard - it’s just stunning. I stayed here on my own, so I did not avail of the games in the lounge but if I had traveled here with somebody I could have spent many hours in that lounge area. I definitely will book back in next time I have an excuse to go to Falun.

My room could definitely have been bigger - but then because of how they have decorated it I was still perfectly happy there. But if you don’t like small spaces it might be a good idea to check the square footage of the room before booking (as they have bigger rooms also)

Well prepared breakfast in a lovely hall. Although, the teawater was not hot. Some more signs than coffee and juice could be good since it was sometimes hard to find stuff (cutlery and napkins for example, and the heated water since there were two options, would be good to say "not working" or smt when it is not hot 😊) . Other than that very good and tasty!

Would be nice to have the spa up and running 😊

Breakfast was excellent, atmosphere nice. Good gym. It was great to have a self service kitchen in use, to have an own snack. Location of the hotel was in the middle of the city, close to walking street, restaurants and shops if you need anything. Interesting historical Falu Gruva close to the hotel.

While checking in, we asked not to have a room at the end of the corridor - however we got a room which was at the very far away at the end of the LONG corridor.

Really friendly staff, beautiful furnishings, excellent breakfast in a gorgeous dining room...pool table, comfy beds, nice showers, gym on site. Stayed in lots and lots of hotels and this was one of my favourites. Could live here. Close to the centre of Falun an all.

Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of choice. Set in a beautiful spacious room. The junior suite gave us enough room with our suitcases to spread out. Great gym and helpful staff. Easy walk to town centre. Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

I stayed at the hotel several times, they did a bit of renovation, it became even more comfortable and beautiful, and the breakfast became even more varied.

Ideally, it would be great to have a clothes steamer in every room.

Location to centre of town. Room was clean & tidy. Bed comfortable and staff super friendly. Breakfast was good but certain food items not replenished during service

Separate room on different floor for clothes iron is not practical

The location is hard to beat. Right in the middle of the town and in walking distance to any touristic place in Falun. Great breakfast buffet, full of options for all allergies. The personnel very helpful.

There seems to be an issue in with the electricity in the rooms. In one of the rooms we booked, nothing besides the entrance light was working. In another room, only one side lamp was working.

The breakfast was very diverse with a high quality of the products where there was something for everybody. They also had complementary fruits and warm drinks with the option to warm ones own food if needed which was very useful. The bathroom was extremely comfortable with heated floor and modern interior.

The room in general could have been warmer tho where the heater was turned off even tho it was in the middle of winter when we visited.

I need to highlight the reception service is excellent. Very polite and attentive. The breakfast is good. The bed is comfortable.

I did not evaluate the accommodation as excellent, as the water from the shower leaks and wets the bathroom floor. The fruits at breakfast are not fresh. There is no hairdryer.
