The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, catering for gluten and dairy free. The hotel is greatly placed for the central train station and centre of Malmo. The room was clean and I felt comfortable sitting in the bar area on my own as a woman traveling on her own. The bed was comfortable.

The room did get a bit hot. Would recommend taking water to bed. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room (available for free in the lounge area). Would have liked gluten & dairy free to be available in the tuck shop.

Upon arriving at Malmö station after a 23-hour trip, I was thrilled to see the hotel pop up just round the corner from the station! The hotel is also about 15 mins from city centre. And I liked my room a lot, spacious yet cosy, nice&airy. The breakfast was great, good variety, good quality and the barception area was good, open and friendly. I thought the price was very fair, good value for money.

I got stressed at check-in after my 23-hour trip, long queue & I wanted a couple of minutes to sort out payment method, not allowed, either you pay up-front or go to the back of the queue. Staff explained that sometimes guests try to run off without paying, which I found very mistrustful, especially when the hotel already has credit card details etc. The WiFi in my room was really wonky, which is stressful when trying to deal with a couple of things in a hurry. However, the WiFi in the reception area was very fast and staff said technician would check speed in rooms.

The staff were super friendly. The reception/lounge area was lively and a good way to chat to people. There was snacks and ready meals available to buy at the reception if needed. There was a great selection of food to try for breakfast, a lot of healthy options and some treats too. I was very impressed by the selection at breakfast. The location was also in a lovely area. A two minute walk from Central station. We took a boat ride near here, which was great. The hotel is approx a ten minute walk to the medieval Little Square. You can rent bikes from reception.

Our particular room was on the small side, and the bed was made up for one guests instead of two, so the first night was uncomfortable as we only had a duvet for one person and not enough pillows. It was late at night when we realised and we were too tired to rectify this on the night. This was fixed the following day. If staying in a couple for over one night, I'd recommend paying extra to upgrade your room. We were staying in Malmo for 4 nights and onto Copenhagen for 3 days and the big suitcases in the small rooms was a bit annoying. I got a smaller room as this was what was available for Eurovision week.

Location was perfect. 2 minute walk from Central Station and close to all the old town shops and restaurants. Breakfast was great and it was greatly appreciated they offered a cold breakfast started at 4am during the summer months as there are so many travelers.

I like most the open air breakfast atmosphere. The staff where so accomodating and welcoming specially one Asian lady staff so warm and helpful. I like also the location it wasn't hard to find very close to the Central Station in Malmö. The room was okay and almost perfect.

I didnt like there is no at least a welcome compliments for a new guest a kind of free water.. and there's no kettle inside the room.

ROOM: The room was pretty spacious for us as a couple. We had some issues with adjusting the A/C, but managed to solve it. The shower cabin was leaking so we needed some extra towels to cover the floor, but that didn't bother us that much. BED: The bed was okay, comfortable and with pretty comfy pillows. BREAKFAST: The breakfast was very nice, with nice selection of cold cuts, cheeses, bread, vegetables, fruit, eggs, sausages, pancakes... Juices and smoothie shots were also a nice addition. DESIGN AND SURROUNDINGS: The location was excellent for us, just a few minutes walk from the central station and station of Flix Bus and bus to the Malmö Airport. There were some bars in the area, and the center is also very close, just a few minutes walk across the bridge. COMMUNICATION: The staff was welcoming. We didn't enjoy the fact that the rooms are cleaned every 3-4 days since we really needed clean towels, but we got them when we asked for them. The check-in and check-out process went smoothly, and the reception was open even when we arrived late at 2:30 am. The wi-fi was okay.

We have no major complaints and would stay here again, especially for the price and the location - this is a good value for money.

I chose Comfort Hotel Malmö mainly because of it's proximity to the Malmö Central Station. And also because I remember the breakfast as one of the better ones. And it still is. Checkin procedure is simple and free of hassle, and one great advantage for late arrival is that food and drinks are available via the reception.

Room was very much on the small side, but contained what I needed.
