The location of the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station in Örebro Central. This is the primary reason we book this hotel. Perfect location! Very positive surprise - we got a HUGE room - 2 double beds and an L-shape sofa - overlooking the Castle (Slottet)! Another plus is the breakfast. It has everything we want - hot coffee, bread, bacon, yoghurt, fresh fruits, juice, etc. etc. Oh, and of course, most important - friendly staff as I explain below.

Hmmm, very minor...there was very little shower gel which the hotel staff addressed right away and fixed.

It’s a lovely property in the centre of orebro with a fantastic breakfast with so much choice. The rooms are well kept and clean.

The hotel is split into 2 buildings and we were in the detached building with no reception. It just felt like being in an Airbnb or self catering. Needing to leave the building walk down the street to the hotel for breakfast in the rain isn’t ideal. We were told we can request to be in the main hotel but it wasn’t something we were made aware of before our stay. It’s always nice to walk in a hotel with a bar, restaurant and reception but we missed this and with a child felt it wasn’t a safe option. We wouldn’t stay again here when we return to orebro in the summer.

- Very friendly staff in the reception. - I like the facilities a lot, it is old and beautiful. - The room was excellent - with a small walk-in closet, floor heating in the bathroom, comfortable bed, large bed table, desk, good lighting, clean, and everything worked as it should. - Great breakfast with everything you can possibly wish for. - Perfect location.

- It was noisy outdoors Friday night (loud music and shouting) and it woke me up at 1 a.m. I am glad I had brought a pair of earplugs!

Very good breakfast with a lot of choice, with everything very fresh and rapidly refilled when something ran out. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. The location is unbeatable in Örebro.

The superior double room we booked was really small for a double and didn't feel like great value for the money we paid. Also the bathroom was very small and narrow, it would benefit from adding a shelf or some hangers.

The hotel has 2 buildings, the main building is originally a hotel. The 2nd (where our room was) is a former bank building nextdoor. It has odd characteristics like a bank vault door in front of the spa and extra fortified doors, we had a windowless room, after 3 nights with about 3 hours of no sun due to it being summer in Scandinavia its a welcome change to have absolute darkness

Not the best breakfast. I expect a bit more from european 4star hotels

Location: can't ask for better location than this in Orebro. The flimstaden is just across the road, we used the opportunity to watch a late night movie. Multiple restaurant options around the hotel. Breakfast was good with many options.

Road work is ongoing, which made the route to find the car parking slightly difficult. However receptionist helped us. They can improve on the photographs of the property on booking.com. Specially for the rooms and views from the rooms.

The breakfast was about 7/10, a really good coffee/coffee machine would made it an 8!! The view of the Castle and weir from our room was just superb, a great spot in the town to stay, everything within walking distance.

Unfortunately the weather was turning to winter and the suite we had was very cold, staff were marvellous at providing a heater which we seriously needed but that also seemed to happen at other hotels as we drove across Sweden.

Fantastic location, historic and beautiful hotel. One of the rooms we were provided was a corner room with 5 meter high ceilings.

The other adjacent room we were assigned as part of our booking (we booked 2 rooms) was of a much lower standard than the big room we paid for, yet both rooms seemed to be priced similarly? This part confused us. (On the whole not a complaint because the enormous room far exceeded our expectations but a little puzzling.)

Location, the bed and room - nice a quiet.

There was no aircon so the only way to cool the room was to open the windows. I am a light sleeper and it was occasionally noisy outside so keeping the open wasn't an option for me. If it had been hot outside, this would have been a big issue for me and I am not sure I would stay in the summer.

We were all very happy with our rooms and beds (we had 4 rooms total) and the breakfast buffet was super good.

There was some chocolate on the carpet in one of our rooms from a previous guest. Everything else was very clean and tidy.
