I liked that it was a hotel with great history. We enjoyed the top floor terrace to enjoy some champagne and, in the evening, we also had a wonderful dinner with great staff serving us. Food was delicious and hotel room was quiet. We also like the spa which we basically had for ourselves due we were the only quests there. It also contained a pool there which was also experience of its own due its quite old one and was interesting experience. Our bed was comfortable and sheets were clean.

Interior needs to be updated. Hotel corridors floor carpets where quite dirty e.g. had stains on it and it seems there has been a lot of parties. In our room the curtains had smoke burn stain which does not give you "5 star" hotel feeling. With breakfast you need to ask for the coffee from staff due coffee machine is not visible.

There's a big Service on occasions ..even a separate Spa(not incl.). Breakfast is huge & a big selection of fine food :) On the Main floor are possibilities to play Billard or Cards after dinner.. Parking is possible in the Hotel-Garage (not incl.) or just next to the Hotel (Freeware from 6pm to 8am).

something i've forgotten to say at the check out; they should control more about cleaning, especially the floor in restaurants & the doors into & inside the rooms..probably it's also a guest thing to leave a place as you wish to arrive to..

I love the interior design of the hotel, it is so pretty inside! The spa is amazing but costs extra to use, so be aware of that. You can book it for 3 hour time periods. They provide you with robes and flip flops in your room that you wear to the spa. The breakfast area is spacious (gets busy on weekends) and offers a wide variety of items, but the offerings were the same every day. There is a bar area and a restaurant. Try the pizza! It is amazing! There is an area in the lobby where you can play pool and other games. There is a garage where you can park your car but it is also an extra fee. The rooms were nice but a bit small. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom shower is nice. The rooms are very quiet, I did not hear anyone else in the hotel. The front desk staff were all very helpful if you needed anything. The hotel left macaroons and fruit in our room which was very nice! The a/c was nice but I don’t think it worked all that well. Overall I really enjoyed my stay!!

Extra cost for spa and parking.

Location is great if you are planning to visit a museum with kids which is on walking distance from hotel (cca 10 min). Buffet lunch with Italian theme was really delicious. Breakfast is having great options, don't forget to take a bit of gelato/ice cream during breakfast- it was a really nice surprise. Our room was clean and beds comfortable. Spa is extra charge but worth it- really nicely decorated and clean (recommend to book it in advance).

It would be nice if rooms were a bit bigger for a 4 star hotel.

A wonderful spot for experiencing the breathtaking nature and sights of the Stockholm archipelago. Everything we desired was within an hour's drive. The hotel is expansive, with incredible facilities, daily cleaning, and a friendly, positive staff. The rooms were excellent, meeting almost all our needs. There was a bit of discomfort due to the bathroom lacking proper ventilation. Additionally, even when turned off, the air conditioning continued to run, causing an irritating noise and airflow.

The building has been sympathetically developed into a hotel retaining many of the buildings features. In general everything is of a high standard. Staff were very good and responded quickly to any issues

There were a few small maintenance issues in our ‘premier’ room. Air Con was not working, shaving mirror and toilet roll holder loose. Toilet seat poor quality. Small issues but below standard for an otherwise quality facility.

The SPA! Amazing facility for a VERY reasonable fee - you have access to just about everything! I was traveling around Sweden on my bicycle and having the use of the spa was a major positive feature of my stay here! You can book a 3 hour time slot for about $50. US. Total DEAL!

It was strange that you are unable to eat dinner in the beautiful courtyard and order from the fancy dining room menu. You could only order from the bar menu if you wanted to dine outside. Why? Kind of weird...

The room was comfortable and clean with nice toiletries and handy little kits for anything you might have forgotten. The bar was welcoming and the pizza from the bar menu was fantastic. At breakfast there was a good selection of hot and cold options with tea and coffee, juices and water freely available. The fresh fruit was tasty and the pastries delicious.

I wish I had a longer stay so I could have tried the spa!

This hotel is amazing! I love the attention to detail, the sophisticated and quality of decoration that creates a very cosy and warm atmosphere. The spa and gym facilities are amazing too and the staff is super nice and very helpful. The restaurant also serves some outstanding Italian food. I love this place; it is my hotel of choice when visiting Sodertalje.

The size of certain rooms can be a bit small.

The hotel in our opinion was excellent and more than met our needs. The staff were very friendly and also very helpful, the hotel also has a relaxing and comforting feel about it. I have been there before and will be going again soon Although I haven’t used the spa yet, I had a look around it and it looked fantastic and will definitely be going to it next time.
