The location was very convenient. Everything was easily accessible by walking - shopping, restaurants, bus and train stations. The breakfast was exceptional. The hours were reasonable, the selection was great, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere of the hotel was great. It was an older building, but obviously had been completely updated, so it had a lot of character but was very comfortable. The eating area was in a large glass covered courtyard that really added to the experience.

Absolutely nothing.

Breakfast was very typical Swedish which I was hoping for, The buffet style gave a choice of something light, something warm and something in-between. The room service was fantastic too! The Locations was perfectly situated with a 2 minute walk to the Centre of town but still extremely quiet. Great way to fell part of the City without the interruptions and easy to get transport to and from.

I loved it, however the double bed seemed to two single beds brought together so kept gently sliding in between them.

The decor of this hotel was a sight in itself - the style was like mild steampunk, I'd say. Our family of three stayed in a junior suite, which was very big. The beds were huge - also the sofa bed. The bathroom was spacious and lovely. The location was perfect, there was private parking available, the personnel were helpful, and the breakfast offering was great.

There was no electric socket (that I could find) in the bathroom.

Great location and a chance to leave bags before check in. Lovely inside square with restaurant, shop and cafe plus access to library. Organic products and italian specialities sold in a food store. Special decor and style.

very small plates at breakfast, but at least a sign saying you can eat as much as you like. Hairdryer, iron and ladders up to upper bed had not been cleaned. Dust everywhere. No fridge in the room and a very small shower (the shower itself was very good, but more space even for a thin person like me would have been nice)

An amazing location, right in the middle of Umeå. The breakfast buffet was great and located in an open space with other interesting stores and cafes, including the very modern Umeå library. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I had to get an early train, and the staff prepared a generous breakfast bag for me that included coffee, which was greatly appreciated.

It would have been nice to be able to make coffee in the room.

The hotel is a rather quirky and personable stay in Umea. The breakfast was fantastic and the room generally pleasant, although the view could've been improved. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind throughout my stay. The breakfast catered satisfactorily to a vegan diet, but what was there was delicious.

The view was to an opposing office building, no vegan spread at breakfast.

The hotel is located in the city centre, which is a great advantage. I really appreciated the breakfast which was great. The style of the hotel is a bit old fashioned but it is very cozy. The staff is very helpful.

The bed could be wider. The shutters wouldn't close completely, so the light shines into the room all night - . Our room faced the street and you could hear loud music from the cars. I guess it's a habit, driving around town in the night with the volume at the highest level.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The curtains worked well against the almost perpetual daylight, so sleeping was not a problem. We had to leave early to catch a train, and they volunteered to give us a take-away breakfast, which was ready when we checked out. There are plenty of eating places nearby, and we lucked on a really nice restaurant.

The decor of the hotel is a little strange - not offensive, just peculiar. Gothic is not quite the right word, but very dark. Not a problem at all really, just different.

The hotel is very very nice. It has a particular decor, a pleasure for the eyes! Everything is comfortable. The breakfast space is large and varied.

I was asked to pay the entire stay (5 nights) at my arrival, even before checking the room. At the departure, I asked a box instead of the breakfast (which starts at 7 and I had to leave before). I was asked to chose between tea and coffee but I only found a yogurt and a sandwich.

The hotel is well-located adjacent to the city center which has multiple pedestrian ways unfettered by autos. The dining room was open late which was essential since our train was so late.

The hotel needs to improve lighting for reading in bed.
