Very nice room with great ambiance and great view with enough space for two grownups with a child. There was no staff at reception but the computer check in was easy. The location is absolutely perfect near the city centre on walking distance, with many shops and restaurants and next to the river. The bathtub was a big plus ( and minus bit that will come later ) just before the hotel is a parking garage next to the comfort hotel where you can park your car for 130 kr. For 24 hours. The cleaning staff and breakfast staff where very friendly and spoke good English. The self-made waffles where really nice

Breakfast gives you a time slot of only 45 minutes which I understand as people where searching for empty tables but it's not a relaxing breakfast as we would like, and unfortunately the choices at the breakfast not really to our liking ( except the waffles ). The bathtub was great for our girl, however when we drained the bathtub the bathroom floor was flooded. ( We didn't report this as we stayed only one night ) But try to avoid room 810 if you want to take a bath. The room was very clean, however due to the bad design of the high sealing when our girl blow dried her hair a lot of dust came down from the beams of the sealing. ( I can't blame the cleaning crew as the sealing is quite high)

Situated in the city centre by the river. Good view from the 10th floor. Nice bed with plenty of room.. Nice Bakery with a very good pizza Good price for a nice room

The absence of people to welcome you. I manage to check in on my own, but I prefer people meeting me and make sure that you get a good start. The self service may keep the price down but still I like staff to meet me. The bath-tub could get a bit slippery. So there was some risk getting out of it after the shower. I don't like to have the sink inside the bedroom. It belongs in the bathroom.

The architecture, the wide choices at the breakfast buffet, the quality of food, the location right in the city centre, the views from the window... This place is so close to the 10/10 rating!

The underground parking garage was not available. I had preferred the sink to be in the bathroom rather than the bedroom - even though it truly looks stylish! The beds lacked some next to the bed facilities to put my phone etc on.

Very nice room, clean, with a big window. The breakfast was amazing, and I really appreciated the special gluten-free corner! The location is central, everything was great. The price was also very good. I will definitely come back here.

The only downside was that the bed has two single mattresses, so the gap in the middle could be felt. It would have been ideal to have one double mattress instead.

We are very satisfied with the hotel. The designer bathroom is somewhat less good. The black walls with the black knobs are difficult for older people to navigate. The gap between the shower wall and the bathtub is also too large, so the entire floor got wet. Finally, if the curtain is open at the window, the mirror is difficult to use for shaving because the backlight is too bright.

Good-sized room with great views over the river. Breakfast was plentiful and well-organised (the food and drink was spread around the breakfast room, which meant minimal queues and crowding. Smooth self-check in and checkout.

There was a big window (tinted, but still) between the shower room/toilet and the room itself. This should at least have a curtain that could be drawn for privacy!

Very centrally located in Umeå and easy enough to reach with luggage by foot from the railway station. I did not immediately understand that I could in self-service create a room access card from my booking at the check-in machines, but a mobile phone with the help hotline preconfigured was available at the counter and a patient service person available at the other end if the call even at the late time of 11pm. The room was on the 9th floor and the view over the city built around the frozen river was fantastic. I also liked the functional style of the room. I am myself very much into making sourdough bread, thus the offered self-made sourdough buns and breads immediately got my sympathy at the breakfast buffet. I was amazed that I was even allowed to pack a lunch bag from the buffet at no extra charge.

Location is excellent. We had no issues with the self check in. Easy to find and easy to check in. Design of rooms is a little style over substance but the room was clean and the views excellent. We also LOVED the breakfast here. Served by the bakery on the entrance level (level 3). This bakery is well known in Umea and has amazing bread. The options were vast and the bakery staff kept everything replenished. Great to have this included. Excellent value for money overall.

Appreciate that due to the lack of staff some extra info may be confusing as people say but just call the help number they are ready to assist. We called about the parking and they explained it all without issue.

Everything was perfect. We booked a room with view on the river and that was breathtaking. The room had panoramic views on all of its width. The decor was modern and fully practical. The bathroom had a very efficient air system so that it dried completely within 12 hours or so. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Staff were really nice, polite and helpful. Digital check-in: just take every step as advised on the screen and if difficulty the staff will help. And on top of all this, we found that the cost was low compared to the quality of the room and breakfast (included), which was useful as we stayed 3 nights, so worth checking this hotel if in Umea.

Excellent location in the heart of the city, all you need just 5 mins walk around. Friendly staff. Convenient self check-in system. Room was clean, good sound proof. Stylish room interior. Comfy bed. Decent breakfast at the bakery (same build as hotel): eggs, meat, cheese, vegetables, fruit, desserts, few vegan options, additionally, I extremely liked the apple juice! There is another hotel in this build, the owner is same for two hotels, at the reception of second hotel (Stora Hotellet) it's possible to rent a bike for free. If you will have room at the highest floors, you will have very beautiful city view!

Size of the room is really tiny. It's not possible to open the window, they have own air conditioning system, which was hard to tune as I would like to have, sometimes it was to fresh in the room for me, but not critical. Unsual location of sink - near bed, not in bathroom. As the bed located just before the window - which most likely will have great scenes outside - TV is located not before your head. So if you will want to watch it, it could be not very comfortable for you head.
