Cool location, beautiful view of the surrounding mountains from the balcony. Excellent 4 star hotel.

EV recharging was not available in the evening (even though I was told it is reserved). Free spot in the very morning (7am), but with flat costs instead of based on actual usage - unfortunate setup and timing with us checking out in the morning. Explaining via message that a minimum rating of 9/10 is needed to keep the score as it is - unprofessional for a 4-star hotel.

There was a little inconvenient. In a Christmas Day I asked for a couple of glasses to drink a champagne (I brought with me) in the room with my wife, and the bar’s guy said NO. Only if I had buy the champagne in the bar. I think, it was totally unnecessary… but… all right … the staying was perfect!!!

Very nice hotel with clean, modern rooms. The pool was great for the whole family and overall the hotel offers a variety of activities for the family (pool, mini golf, very fun game room, movie theater, etc). The panorama restaurant was also very nice with good food and a fun and lively atmosphere. Overall a really great family hotel.

The 10am checkout time is an absolute no go! In the hundreds of 4+ star hotels I have staid, I have never seen a 10am checkout policy. I find this very unfriendly towards guests and ultimately would not recommend the hotel just because of this

Great restaurant with delicious food on the top of the hotel. We arrived quite late (around 9:20 pm) and were still able to have a dessert after the main course. Also the bar is cozy in the minus one floor with great cocktails. We got a very clean room with big balcony and amazing view. Quite big, enjoyable wellness area with non-naked + naked sauna. Great breakfast, good selection of food for our taste. Very nice and polite receptionists and staff in the restaurant. Location is very nice, close to the station (wear boots when snowy as you can slip on the way which brings a bit downwards!).

1. The water in the wellness pool is a bit cold for my taste. 2. The room is very basic for the high price, would be nice to have additional amenities (e.g. body cream which in the heating season after the wellness is very needed but not necessarily brought from home). 3. My cooked eggs were constantly stolen in the breakfast room (never happened to me before LOL) I saw in other hotels pens to write a sign on the egg.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Faern Arosa Altein, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! One of the highlights of my stay was the spa. The facilities were pristine and beautifully designed, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. I indulged in a variety of treatments, and each one left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. The skilled therapists were attentive and ensured that I felt completely comfortable throughout my sessions. The sauna and relaxation areas were also a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. The hotel itself is charming, with spacious rooms and breathtaking views of the mountains. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend Hotel Faern Arosa Altein for anyone looking to escape and treat themselves to a luxurious spa experience!

Top Hotel, with nice services: the wellness area, the meals, the extra services and the infrastructure. It was ideal for a long relaxing weekend. We stayed at the "corner room": very nice with view on the mountains and the village.

The meal service was very kind but a bit too fast. Although I understand the need to be efficient, I would have liked to have a bit more time to simply stay at the table and chat without having to rush into the 4-dishes menu.

The location could not be better in Arosa, especially if you come with a dog. Since one can rent a ski depot by the lift, there is no trouble walking a few minutes to the lifts :). We had a 2nd floor corner room, spacious and quiet, while our son was in a single with more than plenty of space as well. He did, however, hear the neighbours… Wellness again better than I saw in the feedback - the flow of guests very manageable and possible to avoid crowds easily. Sauna well heated and maintained (ask for some water if in doubt) - all what is needed. Yes, possible to step outside on the snow afterwards!

I would not recommend having half board. Nothing wrong with the food, though portions were on a pretty small size, both in the main resto and on the top floor. The service team was super kind and hard working, but the managerial decision to keep them at the minimum capacity meant all was delivered pretty slowly.

Fabulous view from the balcony, very peaceful location. Staff friendly and helpful. Clearly recently decorated and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed the pool and spa but it’s a shame it closes at 7pm. Skibus stop not far from hotel.

Not enough clothes storage space very small hanging area and 2 high shelves (one too high to reach!) no drawers - not great for a skiing break. Poorly thought out storage when recently refurbished. Nespresso machine provided in room, but we have never been charged for replacement coffee capsules in any other hotel (you have to buy them at reception) and this frankly seems mean given the cost per night for a very compact room.

We were accomodated with everything we needed with friendly service and smiles. No one was stressed and all were efficient. We could hardly believe we were in Switzerland. The room was very comforable with a a lovely balcony view. Plenty of room in the bathroom for toiletries and bathrobes. Enough closet space for the heavy clothes and floor space for suitcases and shoes. Even the guests were relaxed and friendly in this atmosphere.

I really have no comment specifically. When we felt a bit crowded between families at dinner time we requested a table change and we were placed at another table of our choice with no problem.

Great hotel with good but small rooms, friendly staff and good location. And mostly very quiet (unless neighbors are watching TV). Walk to the ski lift is about 5 min. Excellent breakfast. The restaurant was great for one night, but the limited selection made us walk to (also very good) other nearby restaurants for the following nights. Garage right in front of the entrance, but with very low clearance (1.95 m). All in all, very satisfied, would stay here again.

The pool area is very large with many features (including bubbles, river, steam bath, sauna), but the water is unfortunately too cold for me here in winter (reception said 30°C).
