It’s a convenient place and walking across the road from the train station you will be able to see the hotel in 5 minutes. But with large luggages, it can be challenging. We love the baby cot being set up for our baby as well. A bottle of hair conditioner was given and I am thankful for that. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel has coffee machine and no kettle so we have problems trying to boil water for our baby as the water has the coffee taste when the water passes out from the nozzle. Thankfully we brought along our own electric kettle which solves the problem. Do note that there is no air conditioning so it can be quite hot during summer. There is also no fridge in the room as well.

Location is excellent, just a short five minute walk from Brig station. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. A fan is provided, which is useful for the hot summer months.

WiFi signal is poor in some of the rooms (I was in a corner room). Housekeeping were also not very pro-active in refilling soap dispensers and tissues boxes, but these are minor things and the stay overall was great. I would certainly stay here again!

Hotel Stockalperhof was wonderful. The bedding and duvets are the most comfortable we’ve experienced in all the Switzerland.. the location is right in the center of town and really convenient only a 6 minute walk from the train station. The best part: the fantastic fitness center! The hotel partnered with the neighboring Stadtfitness Brig gym, one of the best gyms we’ve found in all of Europe, let alone Switzerland. We left well-rested and glowing after a great work out.

Warm welcome and good hospitality, great location for the old town, clean room and comfortable bed

We couldn't find the parking but that was likely to be a sat nav issue so parked up the top of the hill and walked to the hotel, the balcony in our room was cramped, there was no air con but the hotel provided us with 2 x fan, it was was very hot during our visit and obviously out of the Hotels control. There were 3 x dead wasps in the Honey at breakfast, we didn't realise that the restaurant was not open on the day of our visit which was a bit of a shame as it has such good reviews.

Good location - walking distance from station. Ok rooms. Good view from the balcony room. Excellent thing was a fan in the room, otherwise it would have been unbearable to stay due to hot weather. Staff was very helpful to explain the check in process when I called (it’s not a 24 reception).

Noise coming in from the night club next door, as we had to keep the windows open for ventilation due to hot weather. Did not try any food at the hotel.

The hotel is in a great central location and only a short walk from the train station and the Palace. We were upgraded to a family room which was a lovely gesture and a rose given to mothers for Mother's day. The main bed was comfortable and the room had nice facilities like a coffee machine and bath robes. The windows had good sound proofing and block-out blinds. The breakfast buffet had a good range of items and the staff were very friendly.

The room had a bath with spa jets and a shower above it that was very awkward to step into. You almost needed to sit on the wide edge of bath when getting in or out so you didn't slip. Reception is also only manned until 16:00 which wasn't in issue for us but may be for others.

The room was excellent with plenty of space and we had an extra bed set up for our child. This did not make the room cramped. Our room had a lovely terrace which seemed to be about four times the size of everyone else's balcony, so we were very lucky! Great coffee machine. Proper hairdryer. All brilliant. The location of the hotel is absolutely brilliant. Very easy to reach from the train station. Staff gave us an adapter plug to use as none of our European ones would fit. That was excellent and really appreciated. Thanks for a great stay!

The only reason I haven't given it a 10 was because we felt the breakfast price was high. It would have been 50 Swiss francs for 2 adults and a child, so we did not have breakfast in the hotel. There are lots of supermarkets nearby so we hot some breakfast food there instead.

Alicia is a lively receptionist that greets you with happiness and warmth that is so refreshing in the cold winter of Brig. The hotel itself is great, 5 min walk to the Brig station and has all the necessary amenities and more. We had a balcony with a view to the mountains but the cold and snow prevented us from enjoying it all sipping hot coffee with fresh croissants. There’s an Aldi in 5 min walk, and a Migros too. All in all, a wonderful stay and highly recommend

The hotel is in a great location. We chose a room with a balcony which meant we were at the back so there wasn't a huge amount of noise at the weekend. Comfy beds, friendly staff and a varied enough breakfast.

Nothing really to dislike. For us, hot drinks weren't refilled often enough and there weren't enough cups. We are English and we love tea, this is entirely our preference.

A nice and comfortable place to stay. Hotel is located in the old city center, close to rail station and main attractions. My room had a great view to the mountains and was equipped with an expresso machine. Friendly staff, I was charged by mistake twice the city tax, but I was immediately refunded.

Reception is not open 24 hours and needed to call to have the main door open remotely. I was lazy to recharge my phone in the train, so I have to call with the last energy power. Imagine what would have happened if I would had running out of power……
