It is a lovely little hotel. Rooms are compact but exceptionally clean and comfortable. I was very plesently surprised with the attention to detail around the hotel (from Swiss-inspired decorations to high quality crockery at breakfast) and how lovely and helpful the staff is. The location is great, availability of a secure parking location

The reception is not working 24h, but the kind staff was very happy to provide a solution.

If I have to criticise at all it would be that the shower was quite small but realise it is an old building so not easy to accommodate

The location of the hotel is near to the train station, we reached Zermatt, Gspon and Chur while we left our car in the hotel parking with no fee. Our room was a huge apartment we could see the town every direction. I liked especially, that there is a window in the bathroom. Everything was clean and well prepared. The hosts are really friendly. The restaurant is exceptional, we stayed every night there on the terrace.

The hotel, though not spacious, pays great attention to detail, and the service staff were exceedingly warm and hospitable. The breakfast was generous and varied. Our room was sizable and impeccably clean, in fact, it was the cleanest we've encountered during our trip. Although the hotel is relatively close to the station, it proved to be slightly farther than convenient for us traveling with young children.

1. The hotel location is fantastic - 3 mins walk from the Brienz Station. 2. Views from the windows are outstanding. 3. Grocery and other stores are just about 2 mins walk. 4. Very neat and clean. 5. Allows early checkin. 6. Breakfast is really good.

Location very close to the old town but also quiet, coffee machine in the room, good breakfast buffet, tasty coffee, friendly staff, bike storage inside, small but functional room.

No wellness - I thought it's a standard in 4* hotels. No air conditioning - it would help a lot during very hot days and nights.

Pleasant traditional hotel with very good, attractive restaurant. Welcoming and helpful front desk. Conveniently located at 200 m. from Brig train station on a quiet street. Good value for money.
