We stayed here during our visit to the area, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The view from our room, overlooking the lake, truly took my breath away — it was simply stunning. The peaceful surroundings made for a perfect, relaxing stay. The breakfast was hands down the best I’ve had while traveling through Europe! There was such a wide variety of delicious options, and I was especially thrilled to try the meringues with cream — absolutely delicious!

The bathroom door closed a bit oddly, and the shower was quite dark, which made it a bit less convenient.

Cozy hotel with simple rooms and restaurant downstairs. The breakfast was good; I appreciated the fresh fruit. It is possible to cook your own egg, but there are no instructions, and after consulting with staff and putting even less water than was recommended for a soft-boiled egg, it still came out hard. So perhaps they could figure out a more reliable solution for this standard task. The rest of the breakfast was ok with lots of tasty croissants.

The service in the restaurant was very professional and the food of high quality and well prepared. The local wines proposed were excellent. Dinner was very enjoyable. The room was large with plenty of hanging and shelf space, and a safe at eye level. Great view from the room terrace. Good continental breakfast. Plenty of parking. Lots of foreign TV channels, including lots of English speaking ones. We will stay there again.

Regrettably there is no lift, but only two upper floors. Nevetheless a bit tough for us oldies with luggage. Bathroom a bit small, and no bath tubs available.

The view! MAGNIFICENT! We got a room overlooking Lake Gruyere and the mountains. Wow. Absolutely stunning. I sat on that balcony for hours and didn't want to leave. The breakfast is also terrific! So many fresh local options, including fresh fruit, and local gruyere cheeses and milk, yogurts. Staff is also super friendly. Loved it!

The room and bathroom were very simply decorated but as expected and described. It was really hot during the 2 days we were there and there's no ac. But other than that it was just absolutely fantastic.

Comfortable stay, good location, quite. We liked breakfast, good variety and fresh. Dinners were good too, very convenient. Close to lake - 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive, free parking. Relatively short drive to Vevey, Montreux, Shilon castle, Gruyère

Great location, friendly staff, restaurant on site with very good food, free parking, pets allowed . Good breakfast with many fruits ( except the coffee, which is incomparable with the delicious espresso served at the restaurant)

Lovely Hotel. Close to Bulle which is nice town. The hotel is very close to Lac Gruyère Excellent breakfast with a massive choice to suit all tastes.

Excellent hotel with a fantastic view of the lake from the room. Very friendly staff and tasty breakfast. We definitely want to come back.

Everything was very good, we had à great dinner, the room was big and quiet, the breakfast delicious. The owner and the waitress and staff friendly and efficient.
