The lady hosting the property is very friendly, helpful and cheerful, all other staff are also very pleasant and contribute to a relaxed atmosphere. The room was very spacious with a balcony, double and single bed and a comfortable bathroom. The view over the valley was gorgeous. Contrary to my experience with french beakfasts Roitelet has a wide range of mostly healthy options, and also serves freshly made egg variation (I liked the scrambled eggs a lot).

The family that runs this hotel is super friendly. They really try to make you feel comfortable. Gluten free breakfast was available upon request. During the week that we stayed in the hotel they organised a nice dinner one evening. We were also allowed to order food and eat it in the common area next to the bar when all restaurants in town were fully booked. The ski bus stops in front of the hotel. It is just a few minutes walk to the city center.

Loved this little hotel. Had a warm friendly welcome. I stayed in room 3 which was small but perfect for solo traveller. The view from the huge balcony was amazing. Very clean and everything you need. Great spacious ski room with heated boot rack. Breakfast was delicious with everything you expect. (Extra charge) but worth it. About 8 min walk into town slightly uphill. No4 bus stops right outside in either direction. Takes you to central Chatel. Lots of parking but I didn’t travel by car.

The breakfast was very satisfactory: a selection of breads, rolls, croissants, and cake. Also in the buffet were cheese, ham, fruit salad, yogurt, and the option for cooked eggs. The hostess was very attentive.

Clean, quiet and friendly and the location for my trip back from Italy to the UK was a perfect first stop. Receptionist was very friendly and patient. The area is very pretty and must be amazing in winter with the snow. Bed was really comfortable, room like a cosy wooden cabin with balcony and very clean bathroom with separate toilet. Parking outside felt safe enough even with no garage. No one touched my motorcycle on my trailer or my car. Space to turn.

This hotel is a fab all rounder. Great location, amazing food, very helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Staff help organise your ski pass with a discount and have arrangements with local ski hire company opposite bus station where you can leave your gear and walk in and out of village in own shoes 😉. It's a short walk into village (8 mins) but there is a free bus too. There is a choice of eggs with breakfast which I love before skiing and the set menu in the evening/ quality of cooking is sublime all from organic local foods with organic wines too - what's not to love.! Rooms are simple, functional and very clean. Highly recommend this place.

Hotel staff couldn't do enough to help and were very friendly. Breakfasts were excellent, large selection and all homemade. Rooms were spotlessly clean with excellent valley views.

Beautiful location with view to valley, comfortable rooms - we had family room with many beds, 2 floors, 2 bathrooms and balcony, very clean. Dinner was big and very good. The owner is very kind, nice in communication and helpful - helped us a lot with our little baby who got sick.
