While the cost of the accommodation was high (but hey, that's Switzerland), relatively, it was well worth it. The location is excellent, central in town and a walk across the road to the train station (I came to Vevey from Geneva). The room was like a modern and very well maintained motel room, with a hot and strong shower/bath, a very comfortable bed, and basic but useful facilities, including a desk (I was there for work, after all!). The breakfast provided an excellent start to the day, with a good variety of high quality food, with the bonus of wonderfully friendly staff. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and, cost aside, I'd gladly stay there again. Very highly recommended!

I really could not fault the hotel. The room was basic, more motel-like than hotel, based on my many experiences, but offered all I needed. Nothing really negative to say.

Weoved the property and how close it was to station. Very clean. We didn’t eat at the restaurant. Staff very helpful.

Had no problems with the hotel but it was the only time in all of our Europe travels for the last 7 weeks that I didn’t feel 100% safe. There were groups of guys that hung out on all the corners of the station, and points close by. Hotel was opposite station. They were there from early in the morning until ate at night. Police came a couple of times and they all disappeared quickly, as soon as police left they were back again. We could see them from our balcony. Just made especially me feel in easy.

very comfortable beds, blackout curtains, gym, spa and wellness, room we stayed in was modern, spacious and cosy and enabled us to relax in. Nice modern bathroom with anti slip flooring and separate shower cubicle and bathtub and two wash basins. Nespresso machine in room. Bathrobes and slippers. Well stocked mini bar. Housekeeping is exceptional, friendly and efficient. Our room was refreshed each day before lunchtime. The food in the historic Restaurant is excellent and the staff are delightful. It was so good that we stopped going elsewhere. The outdoor patio is a relaxing spot where a drink can be enjoyed, nice bar area too with daily newspapers in various languages. Multi lingual staff at reception and restaurant. Location is city centre next to train station and a short walk to the beautiful lake shore.

Location! Location! Location!! Steps away from the Gare. Very short walk to Centre Ville. Very close and pleasant walk to lakefront strolling. Oh yes . next to bus stop for trip to. Chaplin Museum! Wonderful , sunny, breakfast room and great breakfast buffet.

Excellent location in town centre, near railway station with connections to rest of Switzerland & a short walk from the promenade & lakeside of glorious Lake Geneva. Quality furniture & linen. Reception, bar & restaurant attractive & welcoming. Food was good & after we discovered they were happy to let us share dishes we ate there 4 out of 7 evenings. Good storage for a 7 night stay.

A bit too warm. Larger bath towels would've been nice

The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helped us store our backpacks when we arrived too early. They took them to the room as soon as it was ready, so when we came back the backpacks were waiting for us in the room. The location is great with grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants within walking distance. It is also very close to the train station, but far enough away to avoid the noise of the trains. All in all a great stay!

We had a balcony overlooking the to main road. It was very noisy so we didn't spend much time there. At night some of the car noise could be heard inside. When the staff took our backpacks and a plastic bag into the room, they didn't check what was in the bag. We had an open can of juice there and they left the bag so that the can was on its side, spilling the juice on other things. Luckily there was no major damage but we had to do some cleaning.

Room was well designed, spacious and breakfast area was easy to move around to select the dishes being served.

One of the waitresses was rather over officious in questioning my account for being "breakfast included". I suggest that at Reception they make sure that on my arrival they give me back my copy of my booking receipt which shows all the details of my booking eg that I paid for "room plus breakfast included". This will avoid any confusion between customer and staff.

We really liked the position of the hotel as it is just in front of the train station of Vevey. Although it is so near the train station and a small square, the room was super nice and pretty quiet (some noise in the morning but it is also a renovated old building). The hotel and the staff are very nice and helpful and we got the Riviera Card that gives you free transportation around Vevey/Montreux and discounts on activities. Plus point, the room has a luggage chair attached to the wall that can open and close and really saves a lot of space. Overall very satisfied.

The night curtain could close a bit better as in the evening (night illumination) and in the morning some light was still coming in so it was never dark. Our room only had a bathtub/shower so it may be difficult for some guest to enter it but maybe other rooms have a classical shower. It did not bother us.

Lovely hotel next to train station, main bus stop to Montreux & shopping centre. Buffet breakfast in elegant surroundings. Yummy evening meals. Free travel pass upon arrival. Twenty minutes scenic bus ride into Montreux. Fifteen minutes scenic bus ride to Charlie Chaplin's house and up the mountain. Job done.

No Snow in December. Come on Vevey. Sort it out! ;-)

This was our second stay at the hotel and we were very pleased both times. We had a lovely room with a small balcony, it was modern, air conditioned and the bed was very comfortable! The hotel is close to everything so we could reach all of the things we wanted on foot, however a free transportation card was also provided. We booked without breakfast but decided to eat in the hotel on the last morning, it was nice to have this flexible option. The staff were very kind and accommodating to our requests!

We would have liked a bit more fresh fruit and vegetable varieties at breakfast, especially for the price. Otherwise everything was fine. The bathroom seems to be less newly renovated than the rest of the room, but everything was clean and functioning well!
