The hotel is located on the bus route and the stop is outside the hotel. The Montreux authority provided free bus transport, just hop on. Located between Vevey and central Montreux , the trip on the bus takes about 10 minutes either way and comes every 10 minutes. I don’t think we waited more than 5 minutes at the bus stop. Right by the bus stop (15min to the center). Ideal if you want to avoid the hassle of parking in the city centre. Clean and cosy room, in art deco style, full of character. Decent breakfast.

The hallway upstairs (not the room) smelled quite badly, I presume because of the old carpets. No elevator to the third floor - if you have mobility issues, request a room on the first or second floor.

From check-in to check-out, it was such a pleasant and smooth stay! The gentleman who welcomed us (I'm guessing he is the owner) was very polite and enthusiastic and proactive! His English was very good and he was just very helpful. Because he saw that I had two young children with me, he upgraded me to a slightly bigger room. And as I had a huge and heavy luggage, he gave me a room on the second floor which didn't require me to lug my luggage up a flight of stairs to the third floor. Very helpful! He was also very insistent on looking for a room with 3 single beds for me as I was 1 adult and 2 kids but we were fine with the 2 single beds pushed together. The room was slightly on the small side but it was very clean (a bit dark) but all was in good order. The bathroom was very clean and I think it was recently renovated? Modern, white and bright! Water pressure was very good. Breakfast was good!The lady there working all by herself and with limited English was super passionate and speedy in her tasks. I couldn't thank her enough for taking good care of us. The variety being offered was also good! Especially for a 3 star property. Everything was clean and hygienic. I was at another property which claimed to be 3 star plus but the breakfast wasn't as good! We also had one meal at the restaurant. My son enjoyed the burger. Prices were also reasonable for costly Switzerland! Upon check-in we got tourist cards which gave us access to the public transportation and half price off some of the tourist attractions in the area like Chaplin's World and Chillon Castle. Traveling to and fro the hotel and nearby towns like Vevey and Montreaux was very easy. Once again, gentlemen at reception explained it clearly and gave us maps. Location wise, yes it's a bit of a distance from attractions but with the above tourist card, it was fine. Good to be hopping on the bus to do some sightseeing.

We got a room facing the road. So it was a bit loud with the speeding traffic. But once windows were closed, it was good soundproofing. There was a fan in the room so that kept us cool throughout the night. Although it would have been so nice to let in the cool night air as we were lucky we were there when it was not so hot.

Not in the center of Montreux so it was away from the crowds but incredibly easy to catch the bus to get into Montreux, and not too far away. And the bus is free. Also, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was also absolutely delicious.

It was hot while I was there and there’s no air conditioning but that is an unusual issue. The fan in the room kept me cool enough

Philip is a fantastic hotel owner and host. So is the team there... the chef, service staff all excellent. They made fantastic veg cuisine for us everyday and made our day with the last meal of the day after a long busy day in Montreux. Breakfast was great too. Everything perfect about the hotel. Clean, spacious, airy rooms & comfortable bed. Will definitely consider staying here again. It is a little far from the main street and station but with precise swiss transportation 15 mins travel was hardly an issue. Infact we liked the fact that it was a little away from downtown.

The breakfast definitely exceed our expectations - it had all the "usual" food and drinks you can find but you could tell the quality of everything was exceptional.

It would be nice to have had a room with A/C. There's a fan in the room though, so we slept very well.

I had to do some laundry and the front desk staff all recommend their laundry service- we paid for 2 loads and it only cost us around $35 and all of our clothes were clean, super dry and folded. Thank you.

By the Main Street and some traffic noise in Montreux but this is actually very good for us as we used the bus and it is just steps away from our hotel.

A very good experience! Very nice and helpful people. The hotel is a little far from the city center but it’s easy to use public transportation and the receptionist explains everything you need to know very kindly. I’d definitely come back.

The location was great and bus was right across the street to ride into city center. The hotel is somewhat dated but clean and breakfast was excellent. The one drawback was no air conditioning, which we knew about but should have realized we needed that!

We were bumped from other accommodation and this was a last minute booking for us. It was a very comfortable and quiet place to stay that was conveniently located near Montreaux and nearby motorways. Not walkable to the places we were looking to visit in Montreaux, but just a short drive.
