The underground car park is very good and secure . The rooms are fairly clean with good view of Lake Geneva. The mini bar selection is very good . Lots of complementary coffee and juices within reception . The gym is fairly small but has all you need. The sauna and steam room a plus . The indoor dining is sufficient . Improvement to have more selection in the menu . 3-5 options is not enough .

They just need to be a little more thorough on the cleaning in rooms and smell of dust . Therefore I left the windows open for circulation of air . The bathroom chrome finishing on bath tub is rusted and should be replaced . The hotel is under refurbishment so the swimming pool and hot tub and rooms still not finished . I guess the hotel is making the effort to modernise . Therefore I am looking forward to come back again and see the improvement .

Location, close to all amenities and train station. Very scenic views and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. I mean, from reception to breakfast. They were all very helpful and we did ask for loads of things, starting with ear plugs to adapter. They had it all. Tea, coffe and snacks at the lobby were great! Thank you. Beautiful view from the Saffron restaurant and breakfast. Also, The welcome and acknowledgement at the breakfast superb ( thank you all, Tatjana, Mona, Niliam apologies, don't remember all the names). You were all brilliant and made our stay comfortable. Thank you. Also, just so you know. The welcome pack doesn't just consist of complimentary water (BTW, you can drink tap water safety) , the whole mini bar was free. This was greatly appreciated and all consumed with thanks, just to be topped up again.

The rooms were on a smaller side. We stayed at cosy with a view. 10th floor. Although we didn't stay much at the hotel room, still worth noting for anyone who prefers spacious rooms. It was a bit dated, tile loose on the balcony however it was spotless. And although I love music and jazz (not that much jazz was being played) the noise from the festival lasted up to 3am and the nearby venue with the base (it was all about the base, lol) was something else. You could hear the entry to the hotels lobby vibrating. I don't think this could be anything the hotel could do about. So bear that in mind when booking during the festival days!

I went for a staycation and the hotel exceeded my expectations. It had a hot jacuzzi at the rooftop overlooking the lake, sunbeds, spa and hammam (and gym). The hotel offered complimentary mini bar drinks (which is so rare in Switzerland), free popcorn and some drinks/tea in the lobby round the clock. I went for a staycation and absolutely enjoyed it so much. The lake and mountain views from my room were insane. I even had a speaker in my room which I loved him. There was also a bath tub in the bathroom and the hotel also had an amazing restuarant.

One of the main lamps in my room wasn't working (I mentioned this to the hotel but they probably forgot about it) and the door lock got jammed at one point but the hotel quickly fixed the door lock.

Hotel is in a great location, right on the water with gorgeous views. The staff is incredibly nice and property impeccably clean. An odd thing to comment on but the bath towels are large and fluffy - quite the change from other 4-star hotels we've stayed in.

As always, the AC is non-existent, despite setting it low. Yes, we closed blind and curtains during the day, asked for fans, opened the door sometime after midnight and still didn't get a good sleep until early morning. It's just a Swiss thing we've come to realize, unfortunately during a heat wave.

The location. The hotel is just 2 minutes away from the train station and there is bus station right next to the hotel. The room is newly renovated and is clean.

Although the hotel is just 2 minutes away from the main train station, there is no elevator going down the hill. If you are walking with your luggage, then you need to walk a little further to use the lift to go down. It is not a big problem but will be good to explain in advance to customers that with big luggage.

We were very happy with our stay at Mona! Their new branding is friendly and inviting. The hotel itself is at a really central location with lovely facilities and a friendly staff. But the highlight for us was our room which was really comfortable and had the most amazing view (see the picture)! Really enjoyed sipping complimentary beverages at our balcony!

When we checked in the room was ready yet the sofa bed was not yet made. When we raised the issue we were informed that the bed will be made in the afternoon which we found a little bizarre considering we should be able to use the room as soon as we check - what if we wanted to use our beds right away? Not a big issue at all however, and the staff made sure the bed was made in no time :)

Liked everything to be honest. First I come to the location. Everything was nearby. It’s on the Geneva lake . Train station was 5 minutes walk. Bus 2/3 minutes walk. Secondly,view from the room was amazing. They have so many complimentary things to offer. Everyday they used to refill the fridge with complimentary drinks. Water, juice, beer, iced tea, sparkling water etc. You get free coffee tea popcorn in the lounge area. People were friendly. Service was great. A little pricey but I dint mind because I got worth every penny.

Smart hotel in a fantastic location -very close to station and right on the waterfront. We had a large room with a lake view from the sheltered balcony. It was only March but we used the balcony a lot! Wonderful to wake up to such a great view and have a coffee watching it. Huge comfy bed and sofas. Recently refurbished. Shower a little awkward as over the bath - a little old fashioned but otherwise they have done a great job modernising the hotel. We ate in the restaurant - very nice. Would stay again and thoroughly recommend as a great choice of hotel for a weekend in Montreux.

I travelled around Lac Leman last autumn. I did not expect a brutalist waterfront tower in Montreux to be the best hotel on my entire trip. And yet it was. Where to even start. It was extremely easy to find, rising above nearly all the buildings in the city. Hotel staff were very kind, spoke multiple languages (even Portuguese and Dutch, call me surprised), and had all the time in the world to explain things about the hotel and city. The moment another guest arrived, a receptionist magically spawned from a backdoor near the entrance, making sure guests never had to wait. The elevators have a retro vibe, with folding inner doors, but at the same time are completely modern and fast. If you aren't too high up it is also recommended to try the spiral staircase. The rooms themselves are gorgeous. We paid more for the privilege room, but it was worth it. The balcony has full lake view, and is shielded from the wind. The bathroom isn't large but has all the amenities you need. The beds are extremely comfortable, neither too soft nor too hard. The carpet is also clean. But what won me over was the breakfast. It wasn't cheap compared to other hotels I stayed at, but it was worth every penny in sheer abundance. The breakfast area is also pretty nice, with windows overlooking the lake. I have no doubt dinner at the hotel is also great, but I am someone who prefers to try the local backstreet cuisine.

They do advertise with a hot-tub outside on the property. However, don't expect anything, because any vision of a luxurious hotel hot-tub will just leave you disappointed. If you like chilling in water, the lac Leman is a much better option. Finally, and this is not really a negative, but it is important to note in light of my positive review: Mona is not cheap. You get more than you pay for, that is completely true. But you will pay a pretty penny.

When I saw the hotel from outside I wasn’t sure I took the best decision, however my opinion changed as soon as I went to the front desk. They did a great job of rebranding and renovation of the building without losing the “riviera” touch and keeping a little bit of the 70’s/80’s ambiance. Everything was very clean, furniture impecable and staff was very kind. Room was small BUT amazing, we booked the panoramic room so you could see the lake and the city and it is worth it. Breakfast was really good, with good alternatives and even a chef. Jacuzzi and sauna is the cherry on the top.
