I was very satisfied with this hostel. Probably one of the better hostels I stayed at. It was big and had all the accommodations needed. I got there before check-in and they have an area where you can store your luggage in lockers to come back to once it was time for check-in. The commons kitchen area had plenty of room to hang out in, charge your phone and eat in. They had water, tea, and coffee at all times of the day to enjoy. There was also an areas to buy snacks and drinks if needed. The rooms were very spacious and have plenty of room to store small luggage. The bathroom area was amazing with multiple bathrooms, showers, and getting ready areas on each floor never had to wait to use the facilities.

No complaints what so ever I was very impressed with my stay.

The room is great and clean. It is great that there are many lights which makes the room bright. The breakfast is good. The information from the staff before and after arriving is clear. The hostel is near the bus stop and also train station, very convenient if you don't have big luggage. Clean shower room and toilet. Nice and worth to stay.

The bed is a little bit soft and the room is too hot, even you don't use the heater. There are stairs either from train station or bus stop. If you travelling with a big luggage, it may be a problem. Remember to check the position of the switch of light, it will suddenly turn dark for a while when you take shower. There's no light near the elevator, so it's too dark at night.

The room is very clean and comfortable. Although the toilet and shower are shared, I appreciate the privacy they offer at the hostel, which makes me feel at ease. The breakfast is good with nice ambience. It has locker FOC for you to use upon check-in or check-out. The hostel is next to the lake with nice view.

If you are arriving by bus and have heavy luggage, please be aware that you will need to carry it down approximately 30 stairs to reach the hostel. Additionally, the lift at the hostel only goes up to the 1st floor, so you will have to carry your luggage from the 1st floor to your designated floor/ room.

I love the Youth hostels in Switzerland. I went to this and the Grindelwald one. It is great value - breakfast, lockers, entertainment (e.g. foosball, music instrument - each hostel is a bit different) Lockers are free in this hostel, but the lockers in Grindelwald need to be paid for a low fee of 2 Euro. If you go with friends or people staying there who are sociable, you can have a game or two of foosball or something! It is really a great environment to hang out and have a good time - if people are sociable or you go with friends haha. Highly recommend to rent the bike and cycle around Montreux! So beautiful, charming experience.

It's next to the lake and close to the traim stop. The room has lockers that you can swipe the card to lock - it's very safe. The lobby also has lockers free to use. The breakfast is simple but sufficient.

The elevator only takes you to the first floor, and then you have to walk to the stairs to the second floor, which is not friendly for travellers with big suitcases. However, the lobby has a locker where you can store your big suitcase. I had to take the items I needed when leaving my suitcase there. It's a bit inconvenient but worked.

The staff were very helpful, the room was comfortable and functional, the breakfast was good. I would stay there again.

It's a bit out of central Montreux, in Territet, but it's easy to get the bus there, or a pleasant walk along the lakefront if you have the time (and not too much luggage). The lift only goes to the first floor, which made it a bit difficult to get my heavy suitcase to my room on the third floor. I found it difficult to get the shampoo out of the bottle!

Excellent location, just outside of the city centre in a calm environment, and close to Chillon castle and fort. Lovely view of the lake from the terrace and easy access to swim just in front of hotel or on the beach at Chillon castle. I much prefer being there than in Montreux center. Facilities and rooms were incredibly clean and staff very helpful and kind. Breakfast is included in rate. My room was on the third floor overlooking the lake and mountains. Be mindful a train is running past on the bridge in front of the hotel however, due to the heat, our window was open at night and I didn’t find the sound of the train disturbing, I’d even say it was a soft soothing sound (trains are quite modern : quiet in Switzerland).

Well situated and with nice views i loved having free public transport around the area.

Would probably be good being able to chose rooms / a preferance by gender

The view is breath-taking as soon as you get out of the front door. It’s close to shuttle thats often free and you can have access to the water very easily. The common space is really warming too, I had the best game of table football of my life with friends I met there!

The common fridge could be a little bigger. Also our door was really squeaky, which made things a bit awkward when somebody came back late. Other than that, room 23 was perfect!

The staff here is the best! And the hostel is very nice and modern, right by the lake side. Good breakfast. Love the gender neutral facilities. Beautiful walk either to Montreux marketplace, or towards Chillon Castle. Territet train stop is very close and also the funicular up the hill. Really recommend this place!

As with all hostels, take earplugs, as not everyone will keep quiet in the hallways etc.
