Very spacious hotel apartment with comfy bed, good kitchen for cooking and free coffee capsules daily. It’s conveniently located near the metro and bus stops. It’s near a Manor mall if you want to buy groceries. About 8mins from the hotel is also an Asian grocery called Ly Thanh Sàrl. Breakfast bag was nice value and the laundry facilities were great! Don’t forget to try their refreshing lemon water fizz again the reception!

The gym was smaller than expected, but they have the essentials — cardio, weights, bench, pilates ball and mats. Unfortunately, the sauna didn’t work when I wanted to use it — looks great though! The soundproofing wasn’t great… I could hear stomping every night and luckily had ear plugs.

The one bedroom apartment is small but very well equipped with good quality appliances, kitchen utensils, and bathroom supplies. We especially like the roof top patio which is furnished with comfortable lounges, tables and super size umbrellas. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent- only a few mins from the train station.

There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which we also noticed in some other hotels in Europe. But for a bathroom to be shared with 2-4 people, and with no window in the bathroom, ventilation becomes a challenge!

Everything was great. I didn't have very high expectations for Vevey, but I completely fell in love with it, and one of the reasons is definitely Base Vevey. First of all, from the moment we checked in, all the staff were very kind. It was a kindness that went beyond mere professional courtesy and gave us a pleasant and touching feeling. Thank you to the staff member who talked about the locations from 'Crash Landing on You' while making small talk and mentioned liking K-dramas; your warm welcome was appreciated. The facilities are well organized and have very thoughtful details. I highly recommend it to those who want the cleanliness and service of a hotel but also the comfort of home like an Airbnb.

There are only good things to say. Probably the biggest compliment is that coming back to Base Vevey at the end of the day felt like coming home. The apartment was a good size but felt cosy. It was modern, spotless and had everything needed including for the kitchen. The bathroom and walk in shower was wonderful, the bed extremely comfortable and even the view over into town was good with the ceiling to floor windows. The location is also very convenient being 5 minutes walk from the train station, supermarket and a shopping mall and 10 minutes from the main square next to the lake. All the staff were professional whilst managing to be friendly and informal, adding to the feeling of being welcome and at home. No request was too much and they were always prepared, whether it be a power adapter to match the apartment sockets or umbrellas to borrow, all of which were freely given for the duration of the stay. Reception is closed from 22:00 until morning but external card access works fine and staff are only a button all away I would absolutely recommend Base Vevey and it is certainly now my favourite place to stay in Vevey. In all my travels it is only of very very few properties I have scored as a well deserved 10! Keep it up all, great job!

There are no negatives to discuss. Everything met or exceeded expectations.

Excellent location near the old town, easy and quick and very friendly check-in. Room is very new and spacious. Didn't use the kitchen, but looks very modern. Couch and table to work or eat available. Bathroom on the smaller side, but shower is large enough.

No parking and parking in the area rather difficult. But if you're coming by train, this hotel is perfect, just 200m from the train station. If you're coming with a car Manor Centre is the closest parking - expensive while the mall is open, but when the mall is closed it's just 1 CHF per hour. Parking to hotel is less than 100m.

Rooms were great. Worth requesting a room facing the front on a high floor if you can. Staff were exceptional. Restaurant downstairs was simple but good for dinner. Tv was great and amazing to have English tv channels. Finally !!

Main issue was the drug dealers outside. I rarely feel intimidated but I would not want to be female OR over 60 walking back at night. We avoided being out after dark to avoid this issue. They were so braisen and so obviously wanting me to buy drugs. The bike hire was good, but the bike were uncomfortable racing bikes and I was given a proper map of where I could cycle to. I ended up cycling along a busy main road - this is a missed opportunity.

We had an incredible stay at Base Vevey and loved everything about it. The staff was friendly, the location was excellent, and it was close to everything. The hotel offers great amenities like bike rentals, a free public transport pass, a roof terrace, and more. Our room was a decent size, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. We highly recommend this place!

We were disappointed to discover the roof terrace closed in the evening.

the room is very clean and functional. we much appreciated having a kitchen and cooking some of our own meals, especially with the price of food in switzerland. grocery store is nearby. all the utensils and tools are there and clean. room is a little small, hard to open window, couch is a little hard. but I think worth it for the price and location. easy walk to the ferry and train station. bed was comfortable and roof deck on the hotel was nice for a glass of wine before we made dinner. easy to stroll to the downtown and lake. you can pay for laundry in the basement.

it was more functional than charming, but that was okay!

Everything was stunning. some people might dislike the river side, as with open window, the falling water might be pretty loud

The hotel staff are exceptional they let you feel like you are at home, I would like to thank Mehdi for taking the extra mile in Customer Service from the moment I entered the hotel until the check out. The location of Base Vevey hotel is good 6 minutes walk to the lack and it is near the train station, supermarket, mall and city center, the one bedroom is great for 2 adults and 2 children, there is limited parking in the hotel however public paid parking by mobile application is available outside the hotel. Do not forget to get the free public transportation card from the hotel and it has major discounts on the attractions also.
