Best location on Rivaz, Lavaux. Some past reviews complained shower room but as I see it, there was no problem. Clean and plenty of water. We could see nice winery view from the bath room, and on the other hand, the bed room was facing Lake Leman,which was wonderful scenery. Thinking about the room rate, that’s absolutely value for money. Affiliated restaurant was excellent. The terrace was covered with grape trees, they carry a lot of local fine wines. Thanks!

The staff members serving the breakfast were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly and obliging. Lovely breakfast. The Auberge is on the train line between Montreux and Lausanne with a two minutewalk from the station. You just have to fit in with one train hourly. Being able to walk above, through the vineyards, was great.

It would have been nice to have been able to make a cup of tea in the evenings. However, our hostess did allow us to keep some chilled food in the kitchen cold room. Much appreciated.

Excellent restaurant and the breakfast was very nice too. The food is its strength. In fact, I would probably describe this place as a restaurant with rooms. We had a 'deluxe' room, which gave us more space. Lovely view. Decor is attractive. Standard rooms appear to be small-ish. The staff are very pleasant. A good place for a stop when exploring the area - which is a beautiful part of the country.

I know CH is expensive - I live here - but there were certain things that were just too expensive. 18 francs for a G&T? No water provided in the rooms and charged 6 francs for a small bottle. Bathrooms, especially the shower, need updating. A deluxe room at 240 francs should have a good shower, without a plastic curtain.

Nice, fashionable hotel by the lake with Michelin kitchen.Fantastic breakfast and views across the lake. We have been here before and will come back.

So far we always had very nice staff, the lady and the reception this time was a bit different. This is the third time we came to that place and will still come back.

This is a charming hotel right by the lake in a small village in the UNESCO World Heritage Lavaux area - with an exquisite cuisine. Nice staff that focuses on treating guests in a welcoming individual manner. Stylish rooms. Great breakfast and great starting point for walks or hikes in the area...we have been here before and will come back.

a beautiful little hotel. the owners were very friendly and welcoming and we felt at home. food in the evening was delicious and compliments to the chef. the room had a lovely traditional and comfortable feel to it. Apple TV was an unexpected bonus.

it would be nice to have had coffee in the room. breakfast was very limited to basic continental. parking was very limited. bathroom was very small.

Clean, comfortable rooms and bedrooms. Staff were friendly. Evening meal was delicious. The view from room 5 was excellent.

The breakfast was minimal and not a good selection to choose from. The fire escape safety details on the back of bedroom door were upside down.

great location, with the train station right across the street. Easy to get to main towns, e.g. Lausanne, Vevey, Montreux. Lovely to be situalate on the lake and surrounded by vineyards and not buildings.

The bathroom was very small, okay for us but for heavy-set people probably a bit tight.

Such a wonderful location, the view over the lake to the Alps is stunning. The staff are very friendly and made us feel most welcome. The restaurant is fabulous, such interesting choices on the menu. Our room was very comfortable with a view. I highly recommend Auberge de Rivaz.

Well decorate hotel with lake view. Easy parking for us on motorbike. Friendly and attentive staff. And a sweet dog 🙂 excellent food in the restaurant. 3-minute walk from lake.

Just that the shower needs updating. For £180/night we expected modern facilities but the shower felt old and dated.
