Absolutely beautiful place and very kind and welcoming hosts. The room exceeded my expectations: high wooden ceilings and a balcony overlooking nearby farmland and down to the lake. Peaceful and tranquil setting, and a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. Our dog was also very welcome. We booked dinner and breakfast, and both were fantastic, with high quality local produce with a lovely selection, lots of vegetables and salad, from a buffet. Beautiful terraces, one behind the building and one through the restaurant. A lovely "meditative path" through the woodland for a pre-dinner stroll, and the birds from the woodland provide a beautiful soundtrack of birdsong to the whole experience.

The breakfast buffet ran out well before the end of breakfast and was not replenished, which was a shame. I am not sure why there is a huge cactus right behind the table in the corner of the restaurant. The breakfast waiter specifically asked us to sit there, but its not a good place, as the person beside the cactus has to lean forward all the time, or gets prickled. I advise not to sit in that seat :)

A very picturesque and tranquil place, perfect for enjoying the beauty of nature in silence. I'd also like to thank for the sincere hospitality. I decided to walk from the train station, which would have been fine, but the path is quite steep—a fact I wasn't aware of. It wasn't a pleasant walk with luggage. Suddenly, a car stopped near me, and the owner politely offered me a ride. It was the hotel director. Sincere thanks, monsieur le directeur. I was pleasantly surprised and felt very warmly welcomed.

Cozy place in an old nice Chateau. We were there rather out of the season, so it should be even nicer in summer. The place has a moderate religious flare, but you don’t have to be involved in anything. Stuff has difficulties in speaking anything other than French, but I would put it under “neutral”, because it kinda belongs to the “atmosphere” in most of French-related places.

E-charge car station was not working (offline in the app whatever you do). WiFi is available in the common rooms only (not in the chambers). They say it is on purpose “to provide private quiet atmosphere”, which honestly makes quite little sense and I suspect they could have just saved on routers and additional internet connections.

Property is mainly a religious retreat space and rooms are rented out between events. The place is well-managed and rooms are individual with bed and sink (showers and toilets are common but we never had to wait). Property is good for people looking for a quiet and serene atmosphere. It is a quick drive to Lake Geneva and a lovely, meandering countryside drive to Gruyere for the chocolate and cheese factory tours.

We had no issues and everything was as expected.

Nice quiet location in the countryside. Great place to stay if you want to have a restful and peaceful stay. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is very good!

Keep in mind you will likely need a car to get here. The single rooms are small and basic, but if you're planning to spend most of your time visiting the area, they offer a good balance of price versus quality. I would definitely return again.

The location is scenic and the staff are all extremely polite and helpful. All of the facilities are clean. The breakfast buffet is hearty and quality.

The shared shower is comically small, you actually cannot stand up straight. Something to keep in mind if you’re on the taller side.

Gorgeous character, very quiet, food was excellent! Cows in the field right next to it. :) Plenty of parking. Window opened on to a gorgeous view.

No wifi in the rooms, but it was free in the public areas. It is supposed to be a quiet retreat. Lighting in the room was a little dim

Reasonable cost for a basic room, beautiful grounds and view, delicious dinner. Access to the library for a quiet space.

Could only access Wi-Fi by receiving a text with a password - this meant that people without a smartphone or without cellular phone service could not access Wi-Fi. There was no other option available for being able to access Wi-Fi.

Staff was very friendly, the hotel is in a nice location and has free parking. We had dinner at £30 per person (on booking.com it says £27) which was really good (small buffet with chicken curry as a main course) especially considering the cost.

Beautiful location, beautiful building . Reception staff were so helpful, lending me a plug, when i mistakenly ‘believed the internet’ that my Euro adapter would work

Some of the roads the Satnav took me , (via motorcycle) were pretty hairy!
