A fantastic choice! My room was spacious, modern, and filled with natural light. I especially appreciated being able to open the window for fresh air. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel's restaurant is also fantastic, making it a great, convenient option for dinner. If you do feel like exploring, the surrounding area has many other excellent restaurants as well. The location is perfect; it's a short walk to the scientific park, and with the metro and bus so close, you can be downtown in just 15 minutes.

Great location for conducting business at EPFL. Big hotel, spacious and modern rooms with all amenities you would expect. Good insulation and good mattress/pillows meant for a good night's sleep. The hotel offers a shuttle ride to the train station which was really helpful with transporting luggage.

Location is great, attention is paid to the details and rooms are spacious. The free shuttle transfer to main stations in the area is a plus which makes the hotel suitable also for businesses outside EPFL area. In addition, the possibility to choose the preferred type of pillow and have it delivered to the room is a wonderful cuddle. The restaurant Osteria 31 is also an added value to the hotel. Staff is kind and always ready to help.

The room has sufficient space The bed and pillows were perfect (at least for my preference). The breakfast was rich, although I am on diet and I ate very little portion. The location is just besides EPFL, where I had my business appointment Finally, a transportation to nearby train station was offered (free of charge) by the hotel

Nice surroundings, downtown is far, but lake and university is walking distance.

Even though the restaurant was great, the breakfast was limited in the sense that fresh vegetables were not available at all, and gluten free and milk protein free options were very limited.

I had a conference at the Swiss technology convention center and the location was just perfect as was 10 mins walk. I had a very silent room, the bathroom was super fancy, I loved the shower water power and also the provided products. I had also lake view. The man at the reception was extremely nice and helpful (and also handsome!)

The water was going a little out of the shower area and then the floors didn’t dry in the night. Also I had difficulties understanding how to turn off the super cold air conditioning. There was a fantastic choice of pillows but I love very high pillows so my favorite type was missing unfortunately

Starling Hotel was a wonderful experience and I will certainly come back when in Lausanne. The staff was amazing and friendly. I really loved my room and I can say it’s a super comfortable and well appointed hotel, which even gives you choices for the kind of pillow you want! Overall, if you are headed to EPFL Science Park, Starling Hotel is your only and best choice! On a sunny day, the view of Lake Geneva is simply amazing.

Clean, quiet and out of town but with easy access to town on bus and Metro (with provided free travel pass). Also nice walk to lake and local restaurants. Staff helpful and friendly.

The best thing about the hotel was the shuttle service. Without it, we probably would not have been able to go to conference activities or to the campus. Thanks to all the great staff!!

The dining option was very limited. I think this because the hotel was not busy. We ended up going out for dinner as the 3 options on offer were not appealing. Obviously this is personal taste
