The personnel took into account my demands regarding the room location, they were extremely kind since I arrived earlier and I could have access to my room earlier without extra cost for the early check in. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and again the personnel was amazing very attentive and kind. my room was very good as well as my bathroom the cleaning personnel again extremely kind and they even re-arranged all my bathroom things which was a very kind attention and proves again how this hotel has a great service

The location is super convenient - 30 second walk to Ouchy Metro station which is only 4 stops away from the Lausanne central train station. Also only 1 min walk to the Geneva Lake with breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc. The room is super clean making us feel like home. The tiled floor in bathroom and time floor in the bedroom are both well maintained and cleaned. The breakfast in front of the Geneva Lake and Park is excellent with massive choices in a full buffet style, bacon, sausages, cheese, salami, omlettes, salads, croissant, veggies, breads, crepes, fruits, museli, Oats, milks, yogurts, juices. The bed is super comfortable. The staff offered us two day tickets for Metro train for free which is super handy as well. Being world class boutique luxury hotel the reputation is well deserved We will definitely come back!

The building is gorgeous and the location is unbeatable. Is not only a scenic spot, but it's also a handy starting point to visit the city uphill. The metro station is literally across the street. A big extra point goes for the staff: Not only were they helpful and ready to cover our needs, they were also genuinely kind and cheerful. We want to be back in the summer. PS: Ask for an omelette in the kitchen. They were superb.

Our first room (Close to the boudoir and SPA) didn't have good acoustic isolation, so we decided to move to a suite in the tower. This change solved the problem and came with a great view over the lake.

Staff were extremely polite and very helpful. The hotel was immaculate & the rooms were clean and spacious. It’s directly across from the Metro which made traveling easier. Our reservation included metro tx during our stay so that was an added bonus and the drinks and snacks in the mini bar were complimentary. It’s located directly on Lake Geneva near good restaurants and a supermarket. It’s little gem of a boutique hotel and I would definitely stay there again!

Great location and excellent hotel.

We were given a voucher for 20% off 2 drinks at the bar. We presented the voucher at checkout for our discount off our bar bill but it was refused because it wasn’t presented at the time of ordering the drinks. No need for this silly rule and puts us off ever rebooking. What a shame for such a small thing.

The comfort of the room and good nights sleep. It is close to the metro. Complimentary mini bar. Fluffy bath robes.

These are only tiny things: the pumps on the amenities bottles in the bathroom didn’t work. The water tank on the coffee machine was grotty and the hot water for tea was to come from that, although I asked for a kettle instead for ease. The English Breakfast tea bags were not topped up although I kept getting them via reception and were in the bin so housekeeping could see. The towel rack is too far away from the shower ( as someone who comes from the tropics ) I just wanted to grab my towel because it was freezing - this is a design issue with the bathroom. I also wanted the heater / towel heater but couldn’t get them to work. Although it was summer, it was cold but I could have asked if it was that important :)

Our suite was beautiful -- spacious, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The pool and surrounding gardens are a huge bonus, and having the lake and walking paths outside the door was wonderful. The free shuttle up to Lausanne is conveniently located across the street. The Chateau is a special place. Highly recommended.

Switzerland is outrageously expensive, and the restaurant at the Chateau is no exception, which is unfortunate because it prevented us from dining there. We had to call housekeeping each day to have our room cleaned, but when housekeeping finally did arrive they did an excellent job. The Chateau is situated near a large open area where late-night concerts are common. We would have liked being warned about this -- we barely slept the first two nights!

The location is amazing in so many ways: proximity to metro and many cafes, but the BEST THING is being right on the water, directly on the promenade, which is delightful. The water is crystal clear in this location, near a bathing/sunbathing platform installed by the city, which we used. It was late June and we were able to swim in Lac Leman. The room was EXTREMELY clean. The linens were so crisp and comfortable that I checked to see who made them (and to buy some for myself), and they are designed and provided by a company called Bardusch, that is also responsible for disinfecting them in scientifically controlled facilities (as they also do for hospitals0. NO GERMS on these sheets, for sure! The bathroom was spotless. We also liked the coffee maker with ecological coffee capsules (not disposable aluminum ones). In fact, much thought is given to ecological touches. The interior design was elegant, classic, somewhat minimalist, yet with visually warm touches, such creams and tans rather than a stark white. There is nice woodwork too. Our room 202 was PERFECT in every way.

The hotel was full, due to conferences. So that may explain why we would ask for something, but then have to ask again, as the staff seemed to forget our requests. We did not mind though because our awesome room (no. 202) was just fantastic.

Beautiful hotel with so many stunning architectural features and an amazing location right by the lake. Our room had a balcony with lake view which was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The air conditioning was a welcome relief after several days in mountain lodges in Jungfrau! The swimming pool and spa was such a beautiful extra and the overall vibe was very laid back and relaxed chic. A great experience and we are already planning a return trip in December.

Arrival experience and lobby area are not great for such a grand building. Lacks a comfortable, separate lounge area and understandably in an historic building, as there is no space for a gym, it is necessary to use a nearby sister hotel. Spa is also very small.
