The room was spacious, with lots of light. The TV screen was huge, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. There was a small fridge (no freezer for the Movenpick ice cream, though), and a Nespresso machine. The location is excellent. It is close to the metro, the ferry, and the Olympic Museum. There is a supermarket right next door. Getting a room with a view of the lake is totally worth it. I like that you can open the windows to get fresh air, and there is a screen on one of the windows. Keep in mind that if you are facing the lake and you open the window, there is a busy street just outside, so there is lots of noise until about midnight.

The bathtub has only partial partition, so you have to be careful not to splash water when showering. I think this is common in France and Switzerland, though, and it's not a major issue. The water pressure is not great, but you are saving water that way, so I don't mind. The pillow was too soft; I had to fold it in two to make it comfortable. However, it's large enough that you can comfortably fold it in two and keep it that way. They do offer different types of pillows on request, but I would have liked to have a soft/flat pillow and slightly fuller pillow right in the room. That said, these are very minor imperfections, and I would definitely stay at that hotel again.

Excellent price for good quality. The hotel is located next to the Lake of Geneva. We had a comfortable room with a nice view. The room was well equipped and clean. The hotel has a parking garage if you come by car. The staff is friendly and helpful, and you can buy a wide variety of tasty Mövenpick ice cream next to the reception. I really liked the fitness area which is huge with a lot of high-quality devices.

I think, it is very common in Switzerland because I was confronted with it also in other hotels from the country, but I don't like the fact that I couldn't go to the sauna with my spouse because they separate the parts for ladies and men.

Perfectly located hotel, good rooms with lots of hotel facilities and an amazing lake view (but only for a very few rooms). Public Parking is just below the hotel, if you are lucky to find a spot, that is.

Breakfast isn't worth the cost. The shower holder was so loose that it kept dropping down to the tub. And the shower curtain is essentially ineffective, splashing water all over the bathroom floor. Parking entrance/exit is super tight if you have a large/long car (no issues for small cars). The mutiple colored patches of car paint and scrapes left on walls and corners is evidence of failed attempts by many customers.

Location and size with the view of the room. Also the hospitality of the staffs at Front Desk except the 1st person who check me in.

The communication from the first check-in staff member could be improved to provide a more welcoming experience. When I inquired about my consecutive booking, rather than acknowledging my question, he interrupted me, instructing me to wait until he finished his process. As someone who also works in hospitality, I believe a better approach would be to acknowledge guest questions promptly, answer politely, and remain flexible when assisting guests. This would enhance the overall service experience and create a more positive impression.

EVERYTHING about Mövenpick Hotel Lausanne was AWESOME. The location, ambience, cleanliness and staff. The best breakfast spread I have had - trust me I have had a few. The scrambled eggs were not microwaved like some hotels serve, it was fresh and runny (which is how I like it). The salmon and other fish option was not too salty. Thierry went out of his way to bring water after they had cleared up. We were a group of 6 who came for a wedding in Grandson. We had booked another hotel but the reviews were bad. I'm SO GLAD that we chose to stay here. One of us shared about how one of the staff, don't know his name but he's originally from Ivory Coast and now a manager, made her feel very welcome and offered her apple juice (I think)!! My friend (that I shared a room with) and I are planning to come back on a family holiday trip, soon by God's grace.

There were no bathroom kits with soap bars, shower cap, etc. The soap dispenser wasn't user-friendly and I don't know what brand or quality that the soap and conditioner is.

Our room overlooked the stunning views of the harbour & Lac Léman. The French Alps across the lake. Rooms are comforted. Theo, the concierge, was brilliant as were all staff. The chocolate happy hour a favorite. They kindly responded to my wife’s birthday which was truly appreciated! A QR code is included for trains, trans and buses. Amazing, especially as the M2 metro is 100m away. Nice vibe though out. Lovely restaurant.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, which always makes a big difference to a trip. The hotel itself was clean and nicely decorated, with our room spacious and well lit. Overall, would stay here again.

Only real niggle was the bathroom, which looked a bit dated and had a fair few of dark spots in the grouting. Seemed safe enough, however, no actual mold. Water pressure on the shower was a bit lacking (we were pretty high up, though) and getting the temperature dialed in was fiddly.

Perfect location with view of the lake and trees. Love that the windows can be opened to enjoy the breeze. Enough lights to make the room warm and cosy but also energetic. Free transport card for my entire stay (I had 2 bookings and stayed for 6 nights). Very good breakfast.

The water in the sink doesn't drain quickly. There is a strange red/orange mood light in the bathroom (which I don't use but makes the bathroom dark)... Also I had to wait until 430pm to check-in, and they don't have a double-bed room.

The location is premium at the heart of the gorgeous Ouchy promenade, with metro and Migros next door. The latter saves lots of cash on food. (Dining is uniformly expensive across Lausanne, so the restaurants are for tourists only.) The rooms are spacious, well equipped and cleaned on a daily basis by default. (No need to chase the admin!) The beds are wide and provide a good support (to my troubled back).

I would have loved an AC (though the rooms are naturally cool in the evening). And a faster WiFi. Neither critical to my decision to come back.
