The lobby space is so great to sit and work in, swing in one of the egg chairs, or have a chat with one of the friendly staff... there's a transport card they suggest, take it up. I didn't eat the food, but enjoyed the vibe on all three nights of my stay. There was a small well-equipped fitness room which was well-needed after a few weeks of walking constantly. And my room was furnished pretty cute, I liked where I stayed in Lausanne. Close to an awesome supermarket and restaurants.

Could've done with a small fridge, or a kettle in my room. My room looked out on rubbish bins, and was loud with people walking through constantly, but I did choose to have the window open.

What I liked the most was the staff; especially the person who checked us in. He was very pleasant. He gave us a lot of useful information for our stay; supplied us with tickets for public transport. He made us feel welcomed and thus our stay started off on a positive note. The room was a tad small, but cosy, comfortable, clean and quiet. The decoration of the hotel was very cool with nest hanging chairs, a foosball table near the desk, 2 long wooden tables where guests could have a bite, drink, chat with other guests, play a board or card game, or elect to go on their laptop for work or pleasure. A lot of people (maybe even some not staying at the hotel?) enjoyed spending time in the lobby.

Breakfast was fine. The only negative if one has to mention something was how certain foods were no longer available although we didn’t go down late. I found that a little odd as it was still early. Oh, not enough hooks in the bathroom to hand the towels to dry.

The hotel has very nice vibes and the staff is very friendly! In general we felt very comfortable and welcomed. The room was great, just like in the pictures. It was also very clean. We really liked the location, it’s an area with shops, cafes and restaurants and also very central.

The only negative was the noise. During the day it was not noisy at all and the hotel was quiet. But at around 11-12 at night the were so many car horns, non stop for like an hour or so. But that had only to do with the location and not the hotel itself.

My favorite place to stay in Lausanne. The location is perfect, I love the scent of the hotel and its unique atmosphere. People at the reception are very friendly. You simply feel welcomed, while you stay very close to the important parts of the city. The hotel is located only a few minutes from the Flon station, and it takes up to 15 minutes to get to the train station.

I would enjoy to have a desk also in the room, but I can understand that the concept of the hotel welcomes working people in the lobby, so there is no need to have it in the room. But sometimes it would be nice to have the opportunity to work from the room as well.

We liked the concept of the active ground floor and bare-bones room. Some of the decor seemed a little superficial, forced and gimmicky, but this was balanced by the overall strength of the concept. We particularly appreciated the arrival drink and easily-accessible (free) left-luggage lockers in the lobby!

Some of the furnishings in the room were showing signs of wear, and not aging gracefully. E.g. the felt behind the beds was peeling off around the edges of the plywood mount, one of the leather straps on the desk/shelf had come undone (I re-attached it, but it looked like it would come off again), the smoke detector cable chasing in the ceiling had come loose, some of the brown paint was peeling next to the bed, etc. So the decor could be a bit more robust, or better looked after to better achieve the effect the designers were after.

Hotel was clean, tidy and well-furnished. Staff at front counter are friendly, patient and attentive to your needs. Location is close to most places of attraction. Nice bar to chill with one-time complimentary drinks.

Pillows are a tad soft, would be nice if they have more solid pillows. We made a mistake hiking up to our hotel with our luggage as we only found out that Lausanne is very hilly! the best way to get there is by metro.

Rooms were neat and clean and you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable, charging docks everywhere. Staff super friendly and ready to help with getting around advice, suggestions for places to eat, providing items you might have forgotten to take with you (i.e. charger), kept our luggage after check out, until we had to go for the train. Location is really almost in the center and actually next to the only shopping mall I saw in Lausanne, around the corner of a great square with restaurants and cafés and a charming vibe. Close to main public transportation, easy to get around. Breakfast it was a very good selection for the price, without being luxury it did not missed a thing, fresh ingredients and good variety. Also the lobby is a cool place to enjoy your breakfast.

Everything was excellent.

Super friendly staff and overall nice hotel. Air conditioning is a big plus to ensure circulation despite winter season.

Room cleanliness can be improved. The pump for the conditioner is broken and it felt like that bottle was only refilled but never fully cleaned as you can see kalk at the edges of the holder at the bottom of the bottle. Breakfast can also be improved. Despite arriving at 09:30 (breakfast ends at 10am), a few of the food are almost empty.

Funky hotel. Fun decor creating a great vibe for relaxing with a drink from the bar. Nice surprise to get a free drink on arrival. Great location in a restaurant precinct. Short walk to historic centre and amazing street market with the freshest produce (artisan breads cheeses, fresh fruit and vegetables and beautiful flowers)

Discounted public parking was a bit too far from property, although we were given clear instructions before arriving on how to get there. As the parking is independent of the hotel, the staff should give more detailed instructions on the payment types accepted by the automated machine in the car park. Noisy when trying to sleep as a motorbike group was meeting nearby (seemed a harmless group having a good time).

It's a nice city hotel. The room is not big but comfortable. In the evening there was a cool concert in the courtyard of the hotel, but it ended not late to not disturb the guests. The neighbourhood is youthful and even a bit student. Very cosy atmosphere in the lobby, nice to spend time there. There are many cafes and shops near the hotel.

If you walk from the railway station, the road goes uphill quite a lot. The hotel does not accept cash payments in Euros, only in Swiss francs.
