Good location. Rooms good.

Not that I didn’t like it, but to let you know the bathroom sliding door did not close properly

The hotel is clean, modern and the room was very comfortable and larger than we expected. Great bathroom too. We stayed in a Quad room and whilst it was located downstairs from the reception area and the view was into an interior courtyard we still really liked the room and the skylight was a nice addition for extra light. We didn’t have breakfast at the property as it seemed quite expensive for the 4 of us, however the hotels amazing location meant we could grab a breakfast at the Coop restaurant 2 mins away on foot. The hotel is also located in between 2 metro stations so it’s very easy to get to. And our kids loved the small chocolate fountain in reception!!

Some hooks in the hallway of the room for hanging up coats would have been useful. But other than that we were very happy with the hotel.

The place was very clean. I thought the chocolate fountain in the lobby was fun. The staff were friendly and helpful.

When I went to bed, I decided to watch TV. But no one has checked the remote as the batteries needed changing. I rang reception and was told that I would have to go down there and pick up some batteries. I explained that I was in bed but was told that she could not leave reception. I thought there must be someone who could bring up some batteries. I was not able to watch TV.

great hotel. loved the funky decor. great vibe. hadnt expected a balcony so because I was on the 8th floor the views of the lake and mountains were fantastic. very friendly staff. chocolate fountain in reception which was a nice touch . free metro travel. great location near the cathedral and easy to get pretty much anywhere in Lausanne. bars and shops nearby.

the edge was taken off the experience because the bedroom was too hot. they wouldnt put air conditioning back on. didnt sleep well because of the temperature waking me up. mentioned it daily and was told slightly different things but never really got sorted. ended up having to leave the balcony door open pretty much all night as had no window to open. this helped but not ideal as kept waking up as outside noise was disturbing at times. was a real shame. maybe I was unlucky. had one pillow and wasnt very comfortable. my son in another room felt the same. so also affected sleep. 2 teabags to room daily wasnt enough. 1 coffee and no other options. no milk. .

The room was super cute and comfortable

I paid to have breakfast. We arrived at 9:30 and we were having a leisurely breakfast. We went up at first and got juice and a few things, planning on going back for more. At 10 I went back to get more and everything had been cleared. The sign stated breakfast was available until 10!! We went to the front desk and she didn't care and simply said well you ate. Well I actually had some fruit but we actually didn't EAT! I found her response to be very discompassionate. For this reason alone I would not go back. We had an issue and tried to address it and staff did not care, especially after the food had been paid for.

Nice area with many small nice restaurants close by. Metro station about 100 m away, which is good as Lausanne elevates up from the lake. The hotel is a cosy boutique hotel, and you are welcomed with a chocolate fountain in the small lobby, which also serves as an area for the nice breakfast buffet. Nice and cozy rooms. Good with ticket to bus/metro when you check in.

Breakfast area not ideal for disabled people as there are a few small stairs in the buffet area.

Clean room & bathroom, comfortable bed, the size of my single room was just right, free public transport card, 3 minutes from the nearest metro station and 5 to the old town, flexible check out (earlier times) and the little chocolate I got during the check in was a nice touch (I can see that the manager reads the reviews as someone mentioned earlier that they didn't get any although it was expected given the name, I appreciate this!)

Maybe the free public transport card could be sent through e-mail let's say a day before the check in so it could be used for getting to the hotel already

One of the most charming hotels we have ever stayed at. The area is tranquil, no noise. The design is based on chocolate and they even have a chocolate fountain in the receptcion, my daughters loved it (and the parent too!). The staff were really nice. There is a supermarket, shops and restaurants around the hotel and it is near the old town.

Lausanne has some ups and downs so if you come from the train station the street is a bit steep!

Good facilities in the room , TV, good bed and brilliant power shower , would request a room not in the basement if we stay again, Didn't have b'fast as not included in the rate.

We were allocated a room in the basement which was dark and overlooking the ventilation (or was it the chocolate factory!). Also had Awful experience with Late check after 22:30, had to walk back to other sister hotel tired and with our heavy bags, and walk back up the hill again at 11pm, to find out the next day there was supposed to be a machine but the door hadn't been opened :-(.

Great hotel in the best area of Lausanne, Switzerland. Close to all the attractions, restaurants and the water. The Staff were all very friendly and would always check you had everything you needed. The hotel and rooms are clean and nicely designed. Spacious bathroom with good hairdryer and magnifying mirror! :) The chocolate fountain at the reception was a nice touch, which is a testament to the Swiss' love for their world-famous chocolates. Proximity to metro and free travel tickets made it very easy to get around. Would certainly recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a good stay, good food and hospitality. It was a comfortable stay overall.
