The hotel is clean, modern and the room was very comfortable and larger than we expected. Great bathroom too. We stayed in a Quad room and whilst it was located downstairs from the reception area and the view was into an interior courtyard we still really liked the room and the skylight was a nice addition for extra light. We didn’t have breakfast at the property as it seemed quite expensive for the 4 of us, however the hotels amazing location meant we could grab a breakfast at the Coop restaurant 2 mins away on foot. The hotel is also located in between 2 metro stations so it’s very easy to get to. And our kids loved the small chocolate fountain in reception!!

Some hooks in the hallway of the room for hanging up coats would have been useful. But other than that we were very happy with the hotel.

great hotel. loved the funky decor. great vibe. hadnt expected a balcony so because I was on the 8th floor the views of the lake and mountains were fantastic. very friendly staff. chocolate fountain in reception which was a nice touch . free metro travel. great location near the cathedral and easy to get pretty much anywhere in Lausanne. bars and shops nearby.

the edge was taken off the experience because the bedroom was too hot. they wouldnt put air conditioning back on. didnt sleep well because of the temperature waking me up. mentioned it daily and was told slightly different things but never really got sorted. ended up having to leave the balcony door open pretty much all night as had no window to open. this helped but not ideal as kept waking up as outside noise was disturbing at times. was a real shame. maybe I was unlucky. had one pillow and wasnt very comfortable. my son in another room felt the same. so also affected sleep. 2 teabags to room daily wasnt enough. 1 coffee and no other options. no milk. .

The room was super cute and comfortable

I paid to have breakfast. We arrived at 9:30 and we were having a leisurely breakfast. We went up at first and got juice and a few things, planning on going back for more. At 10 I went back to get more and everything had been cleared. The sign stated breakfast was available until 10!! We went to the front desk and she didn't care and simply said well you ate. Well I actually had some fruit but we actually didn't EAT! I found her response to be very discompassionate. For this reason alone I would not go back. We had an issue and tried to address it and staff did not care, especially after the food had been paid for.

Clean room & bathroom, comfortable bed, the size of my single room was just right, free public transport card, 3 minutes from the nearest metro station and 5 to the old town, flexible check out (earlier times) and the little chocolate I got during the check in was a nice touch (I can see that the manager reads the reviews as someone mentioned earlier that they didn't get any although it was expected given the name, I appreciate this!)

Maybe the free public transport card could be sent through e-mail let's say a day before the check in so it could be used for getting to the hotel already

Great hotel in the best area of Lausanne, Switzerland. Close to all the attractions, restaurants and the water. The Staff were all very friendly and would always check you had everything you needed. The hotel and rooms are clean and nicely designed. Spacious bathroom with good hairdryer and magnifying mirror! :) The chocolate fountain at the reception was a nice touch, which is a testament to the Swiss' love for their world-famous chocolates. Proximity to metro and free travel tickets made it very easy to get around. Would certainly recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a good stay, good food and hospitality. It was a comfortable stay overall.

Good facilities in the room , TV, good bed and brilliant power shower , would request a room not in the basement if we stay again, Didn't have b'fast as not included in the rate.

We were allocated a room in the basement which was dark and overlooking the ventilation (or was it the chocolate factory!). Also had Awful experience with Late check after 22:30, had to walk back to other sister hotel tired and with our heavy bags, and walk back up the hill again at 11pm, to find out the next day there was supposed to be a machine but the door hadn't been opened :-(.

Rm 603-Room has been recently renovated and was super clean and modern. Pretty small but suitable for one person as intended. Comfortable bed, lovely big shower but very low pressure. Reception and cleaning girls nice and friendly and helpful. TV had English channels which was great for a change. Chocolate was very nice from the fountain.

Very dark hallway and motion sensor took a while to kick in. Rather economical on coffee and sugar, only enough for 1 per day and no English tea. The hotel is up a steep hill but if you take the Metro from the train station to Ours, you can walk 100m downhill to the hotel. Couldn't master the air con at all and found the room a bit hot with a heavy duvet.

Great service, great location and great value for money. We enjoyed the small details such as information on what to do and where to eat local.

The automatic check-in was a bit frustrating as the machine was out of key cards. Yes, the alternative check-in at the nearby property was an easy alternative but we had indicated that we would arrive around midnight so someone could have ensured that the automatic check-in would have key cards in it.

Very nice room with a super nice bathroom (modern and spacious). Location quite central to where I had to go for my business meetings and it had a few nice venues for a morning coffee or an evening hang out around it..

The view from my room was not really great (I looked towards a house wall and the room was in the sous terrain so the windows wwere quite small). That being said I used the room for sleeping so it did not matter that much

The hotel is located in the center. Walking distance to go around. The room has everything, safe deposit, water, working table and comfortable bed. The check in information was very clear. I came in the afternoon, so that can do a proper check in. I was so impressed by the check out personnel. The lady helped me out with everything needed, i.e. luggage storage, plastic bag to keep my wet umbrella and book me a taxi to go to the train station. I will come back next time I visit lausanne.

The access after 10.30 pm.. it took sometime to get the door opened at the main entrance.
