The breakfast was superb. I wasn't expecting anything other than a croissant and juice. However there was a small hot selection, croissants, bread, yogurt, muesli, fruit salad, whole fruit, cheese, meat and a selection of juices! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was up to date (multiple sockets including USB ones) and clean.

I hadn't appreciated there would be so many church / clock bells in the area! It wasn't bad, but took a moment to adjust. Also the electric shutters on the window were either up or down, there was no in-between option.

Breakfast was fantastic, as other reviewers have noted. Loved the ability to boil an egg to desired doneness, though the timing was a bit off. Room was very comfortable. Location is amazing. Has an elevator, which was appreciated with luggage.

The great location also means that it is subject to hearing middle-of-the-night rambunctious revelers on the streets, which I heard a couple of times. Breakfast attendant didn't seem to speak much English but I think she got the information she needed from us.

I had a lovely room overlooking the street which I really loved as I spent a lot of time there. I really appreciated how the rooms were spotlessly clean (especially the bathroom!). I have not travelled without my family for over 20 years and it made a difference that the staff were so kind and helpful. I felt quite safe there. It also had the most wonderful breakfast with a wide variety of options. Everything was fresh and they made a coffee to order to go with my breakfast each morning. The location is right in the heart of the old town and it's easy to get around. I caught the metro from the Lausanne Gare - I travel light but it was all quite walkable with my luggage.

Honestly can not fault this hotel I had such a nice experience I ended up booking an additional night when some other accomodation fell through!

Well maintained and spacious small boutique hotel in a central spot in the shopping district. Rooms have been recently updated and good design compared to many other places stayed at in Lausanne. The inclusion of the breakfast within the package price was good value compared to other properties.

English speaking news channels were not found on the TV channels when I first looked.

Everything is new and in supreme condition. Staff helpful and friendly. We also made use of the free public transport option, and enjoyed the doscounted parking. Great and varied breakfast with all the usuals including pancakes, fruit and vegetables. Sound insulation was great for such a central location. We were sure we were more or less alone until we came down to breakfast to see there were a lot of other guests. A real hidden gem, would absolutely come here again.

Parking is a bit far away, so do be sure to drop off your luggage at the hotel first and then make your way to the car park.

The location is great, right in the city centre. The room is modern and clean with all the amenities we need. Breakfast has a very good selection and the staff is super helpful and kind with our coffee order.

We understand that we have to park at a public car park for a discounted price which is absolutely fine. However the instructions for how to get to the hotel is a bit misleading which took us a long time to find the hotel. It’s even trickier with our luggage . We addressed it to the receptionist when we arrived, and I saw a lot of reviews mentioned about that as well. So hopefully a new and cleared instructions can be made for the future customers.

Glass wall between the bathroom/ shower and bedroom was cool and it is a good idea to install curtains for privacy but maybe they could be thicker/ blackout so the lights won‘t be disturbing if one person needs to use the bathroom during the night.

This hotel has everything you need for a short stay in Lausanne , very welcoming staff, superb spacious bathroom and shower , our room had a private terrace. The area is served by metro M2 but is also close to the cathedral and 25 min walk (downhill) to the lake .

Room aircon is a retrofit and we didn't use it as would have meant opening a window and the unit was quite noisy , however we appreciated the effort. Public space is limited to the breakfast room but there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby .

Great location in heart of the old town, excellent breakfast with several hot offerings, including eggs, bacon & pancakes. Very modern and renovated. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds, pillows and overall comfortable room.

Weak water pressure from shower head. In room refrigerator didn't work. No air conditioning. Although it was a relatively short distance, it was an extremely difficult walk to the hotel from the train station, up very steep inclines with suitcases. I am 70, my wife 68. We were extremely exhausted by the time we reached the hotel, and my wife strained her shoulder. Somehow, the hotel should have advised us of this and discouraged walking from the station.

The hotel was in a great location and was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff were polite and friendly. The man at reception gave some excellent suggestions for the best way to walk through the vineyards outside Lausanne, which proved a real highlight of my stay.

The room was a bit warm in the summer (there was a fan but no air conditioning) and on the smaller side (the large bed filled most of the floor space). The room was also on the pricier side by European standards, but this is to be expected in Switzerland.
