Great location.Close to Lausanne train station, metro, and the 1 bus. Metro takes you down to Lac Leman(geneva) and then a short walk to ferry port for the lake. Kitchenette had everything to make simple meals. Coop grocery is walkable. Nice multi language washer and dryer (2 each) in the laundry room. Cleaning staff was friendly and did a great job.

Our bed was a little worn and sagging on the side most used. Could be a little noisy at night. (Close to train station). Train station construction was loud at times during the day.

This is not the first time I have stayed at this Aparthotel. Everything is great! The location is very convenient, everything you need is within walking distance. Self-check-in, but thanks to the detailed description, very simple and convenient. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need for living. The cleaning is excellent. I highly recommend it for staying in Lausanne.

The only drawback is the size of the bathroom. In some apartments the bathroom is very small and inconvenient.

The location is perfect, at a 5-minute walk from the train station, from a metro station, and a 15-minute walk down to the lake. The apartment is in an old building, but recently renovated, so it looks great. The check-in and check-out process is digital, so all goes smoothly. They allowed us to check in earlier and provided us with a Lausanne pass. Everything was spotless and tastefully furnished; beds were super comfy, and even the kitchenette had all the necessary equipment for a short stay.

The communication with the personnel was through Booking chat, but their response time was far too long, it took them 24 hours before they responded to a basic question.

Lovely base for our holiday. Close to the station and shops. The room was very clean and well equipped, it had everything we needed for our short stay. Lovely big fridge and dishwasher was a bonus. It was easy to self cater, which we prefer. We'll stay again! We were also surprised to receive the free travel pass from Lausanne tourist board which made it easy to travel around and see everything without having to buy tickets.

Sightly tricky check in using the tablet, as no reception person, and it took us a while. The owners were helpful on the phone though and sorted everything efficiently. We didn't have any information in our room about WiFi password or using the equipment, but again the owner was helpful on the phone. Otherwise no other issues.

We love Base Lausanne! The location’s perfect for exploring and reaching all points of Lausanne. The bldg is a few minutes walk from the train yet somehow feels private. We enjoyed the ice cream shop next door and the nearby stunning lake walks. The building is immaculate and the apts well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the Asko washer and dryers offered free in the basement. The weekly housekeeping service helped quite a bit. We stayed a month and easily could have stayed for many more.

If you need a concierge service this is not the place for you. I would have liked a guidebook in the apt that explained things like the appliances in the apt, the local metro, the mail address and option, the area restaurants and perhaps info like the stores are mostly closed on Sunday. But these are small issues!

The location is central and close to the train station (walking distance) and many bus stops and the metro. The cleanliness was excellent. The place is calm despite being central.

No front desk or concierge, but emails were answered promptly. Pricy, especially that I ended staying alone in a room for 2 due to plan change, but anyhow, it would be nice to get a deal for a lengthy stay.

Highly recommended, quiet & large room, renovated, modern kitchen, very good location. Bed is comfortable, I slept very well. Good blinds to hide from the sun in the morning. Nice gym equipped with "Technogym" gym-machines. I received an early check out opportunity after exchanging with the staff, very much appreciated.

Some hiccups with the magnetic cards, not opening the main door and the gym, solved by calling the staff. I did not received the details on how to enter the buildings and do the self check in, I called the staff and it was quickly solved. My apt was on the top floor, I was a bit squeezed in the shower bath (I am 180cm, could be complicated for someone very tall).

The location, calm and elegant, a very short walk from the station and with easy access to the city centre and the lakeside via metro. Beautiful apartment with first rate facilities, and daily housekeeping.

Some problems at check-in: it wasn't possible to activate the room key as for some reason it wasn't compatible with the reader. The off-site team were very helpful over the phone and extremely apologetic, and the problem was solved quickly, but it wasn't a great start.

First of all, I should say that location is perfect, very convenient for travelers. Apartment is new, modern and clean. Terrace is quite big👍 Also, there is a laundry room 👍

Gym was not open 24/7. After 8pm I can’t go there because it was closed.
