Staff was very helpful and kind from check-in with two bikes / vélos to check-out. We needed the front desk's help to request a large taxi (van) to move our bikes (in travel bags), luggage, and backpacks from the hotel to the train station. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant serves a good dinner meal (menu). The front desk team, the restaurant team, and housekeeping are first class. We would stay here again, esp during a heat wave (canicule) like that of mid-June to early July. They have air conditioning, which gives cyclists a break from the heat on non-ride days.

Room was smaller than expected, but as advertised. It's Europe and things are different. Not a big deal for our short stay.

- have stayed there on a few occasions and generally like the hotel, but I still find it a bit overpriced - for this money you get a bigger hotel room in Munich and Thonone is in no way comparable with it as a city

I wanted to stay in Thonon (which I visited at least 15 years ago) and was mainly attracted by the Ibis Thonon Centre offering half-board (Mon - Fri). It proved an excellent and reasonably-priced choice. The hotel sits alongside a small park, close to Lac Leman, and the integrated reception office/bar/dining room looks over a very pleasant patio where customers can take drinks. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the town centre and a Carrefour supermarket, and the lake-shore, including a passenger ferry to Ouchy in Switzerland (pricey) is easily accessible via a short, steep, cheap, frequent funicular link. The hotel staff were absolutely brilliant. A few spoke English and they really do work as an enthusiastic team. I half-promised that I'd be back in the next year or two. There is a frequent train into Geneva city and the new rail link beyond Eaux Vivres station means you can be in the city centre in just over an hour (avoid rush hour travel).

I didn't dislike anything. I have to admit that the dining room menu was not particularly extensive, and the self-service breakfast area is a somewhat cramped -- but they were pretty minor niggles.

Staff were friendly and helpful especially Pamala who did exceptional work securing a taxi at a difficult time and Bernard in the restaurant/bar who introduced us to the best of the wines from Haute-Savoie. Locality was superb, easy access to the town and lakeside.

We had no disappointments, for us it fitted the bill, perfectly!

Excelent location, great vibe, clean and comfortable room, great staff. My second stay hear and I would consider returning.

Bad wall insulation. From room 111 you could literally hear the neighboring guests snoring at night or using the bathroom. Not great for light sleepers.

Great location for the start of our Alps tour, motorcycles were fairly secure outside reception with staff on all night, friendly and helpful staff on reception, great views, sat outside having a beer

Lovely location, friendly staff. Had car parking out side front of hotel for my motorbike. Not secure mind you, so ensure no valuables are left on the bike. Rooms clean Good location.

Excellent location, both from the shopping center, harbour & Christmas Market 🎄 Very polite and helpful staff, room was as expected and I already know from the Ibis hotels, comfortable bed, very nice ambience around the reception and breakfast area.

The rooms are not so big, but comfortable. It has air conditioning, which is a rare option here. Good underground parking option for 25 EUR per week instead of 560 EUR of street price. Free juice at the entrance. Good breakfast. Cleaning every day.

There was no place to dry the wet clothing, we have to invent something.
