We most liked the location and the comfortable bed. The agreement they have with the parking garage is very nice also. The rooms are nicely decorated and there are enough electrical outlets to charge all of your things.

What we didn't like was that we paid for a room with a view of the cathedral. Honestly, we felt deceived and ripped-off. You could not see the cathedral casually sitting in the room (even near the window). You had to stick your head out the window and look to the right. Maybe this was simply a mistake and they gave us the wrong room, but either way, it would be nice for them to refund us the different in price between that room and a "non-view" room. You can see in the attached photo that there is not a view of the cathedral (unless you stick your head out the window and look directly right). The camera is even angled in the direction of the cathedral cans you still cannot see it.

The City view from the 3rd floor was unexpectedly beautiful. It was not explicitly advertised, and since it was just the 3rd floor I did not expect much, but you get a view over the city, all the way to lake Geneva and mountains across. Location is great, just a few steps away from the metro entrance and you get a free public transport pass as a visitor.

The only thing I'd ask to improve would be to advertise the fact that they have discount to nearby indoor parking. They don't have their own parking and I just accidentally found out about it when I was asking parking recommendations nearby.

Our room was tastefully decorated with windows opening onto a view of the cathedral. The room was well appointed with comfortable beds and quality bed linen, beside table and lights, desk, room safe, comfortable seats. The receptionist desk staff are friendly and helpful. We were given a 3 day metro pass which was a real benefit. The hotel is located next to Bessieres metro.

Nothing but here are some hints for your stay. If arriving by train take the metro to the hotel - the town is very hilly. Recommend you book a room with a view of the cathedral as otherwise you will be on the street side.

This hotel is well located directly beside the Bessieres train station (you basically come up the station’s elevator and can almost walk directly into the hotel’s side entrance door). We stayed in a superior double room, and we had an awesome panoramic view looking out over the Cathedral and the old town. Our room was a slightly odd shape since it was located in the interior corner of an L shaped building, but the layout made the best use of the space. We had a fridge, kettle with powered coffee packets, and a safe, and the bathroom was huge (I loved all the counter space!). The room did not have a balcony but there was a radiator directly underneath the giant windows so we were able to move the stool/chair beside the window and then it was almost like we were sitting outside eating breakfast. We did not opt for the hotel breakfast since it is an extra cost. Instead, we grabbed breakfast at the conveniently located Coop just across the street each morning. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if I found myself in Lausanne. The room was clean, modern, fun, and comfortable.

Nothing really

The hotel is very stylish, with beautiful and original rooms, all themed around winemaking. The room was quite quiet (as long as the window was closed; otherwise, there was noise from the road). I really liked that there was a bathtub in the room. It was fairly clean. And the breakfast was good, with a wonderful view of the cathedral.

The room had a stove, but there were no cooking utensils provided—not even cutlery. The beds were separate, though at least they were placed together. As a couple, we prefer one bed. There was a large, nice mirror at the entrance, but unfortunately, there was very little light in that area, making it hard to see anything.

The hotel attended our expectations and needs perfectly. The room is big and spacious, and the decoration is also very pleasant with all the facilities. Apart from that, it is also an amazing option to those who will be arriving at the train station with luggage, since the hotel is located exactly in front of the Bessières station, so you don't have to carry your bags all the way up by feet. In general, the hotel is great and the location is perfect. You can access it directly from Lausanne Gare within 3 stops (less than 10 minutes) and it is also close to a lot many touristic spots in the city.

Location and price were great for Lausanne - metro next door was ideal , huge Coop across the road and Aldi and Lidl a few minutes under the underpass by foot, extra pillows provided when asked. Very clean, comfortable, and modern room.

Was prepared for the highest tourist taxes in the world but after arriving in snow and sleet at just before 12 was thrilled to be told rooms were available only to be told that there was early check in fee even though rooms were ready, had no choice but to pay as my elderly parents were struggling and we couldn’t wait in the reception area as it was too small for six of us with bags, fees were more than 35% of daily room rate for 3 hrs - if I had known we could have pre booked but no information available about the charges or possibility of ore booking early check in. Given the weather conditions I feel it was underhanded and unreasonable.

Had an amazing stay and will be returning at some point. We would highly recommend it to others. Great location to lausanne and the Metro station. Free travel pass is a nice addition to the accommodation. We didn't have breakfast so are unable to comment and didn't use other facilities such as the bar or the spa areas....

Not what we didn't like but our room, our bathroom door didn't shut properly and the shower was temperamental as the shower head kept swinging to the side so we had to hold it in the centre with one hand...

Good location, just right to the metro station.Great breakfast with many choices of foods.Thanks to the staff. They were very helpful.We asked for the room at the cathedral side when make a booking (it has no option for street or cathedral side via Booking.com) and asked for transport cards on the day we checked out.We got all what we asked for.

The carpet in the room smell a bit musty.

The hotel was in a good place near the shopping areas and nice local restaurants. The room had an iron readily available for business travellers like me. The room was just fine for a solo traveller with comfortable bed. The wifi worked well for business meetings during the morning.

The room was in the top floor and had only a ceiling windor - which did not shutdown completely. It was slightly skewed from the right corner. Luckily, the rain did not come through but the noise from the streets did come. Typically, I have no problems sleeping around loud noises but I still woke up a few times to party people shouting around the streets. It was not a major problem for me but it might have been a big problem for someone else. The breakfast and services in the hotel were disappointment. I went to another hotel for a breakfast. There would have been nice cafes nearby but I wanted a wider breakfast than those ones.
