Lovely location on a quiet street just a short walk from huge shopping and eating district and sightseeing. Large room. Very clean. Comfortable Mattress. Kitchen was fairly well equipped. Everything worked well. The property was clean, well maintained, quiet and pleasant.

The description states that the room has a shared bathroom but does not state what that consists of. There is one toilet and one shower for several rooms. The shower worked out just fine and had plenty of hot water. A single toilet meant that there was some unpredictable waiting to use the toilet in the mornings and evenings.

Fantastic location, got it for a fair price (judging from Australian standards; 846AUD for 8 nights) Helpful staff! Room next to the amenities (shower side, which must not be used during 10pm-6am or so - I guess it might be less nice to have the room next to the toilet, especially if the hotel is busy which it wasn't) One other guest was quite noisy from around 8am, chanting or whatever, which would have been annoying if I wanted to sleep in. I'm pretty sure though that it would have been addressed by staff if I had complained. Good to have a tap/sink in the room. The Lausanne Transport card is a great inclusion for your stay!

I'm pretty sure that on one occasion, the towels I had put on the floor to get them changed got neatly folded and hung up on the rail once more - might have been some sort of miscommunication. It would be nice to have a small bar of soap provided in the room (or at least on request, if wastage is a concern).

The hotel is in an excellent location, being very close to a subway station and a 20-min walk from the railway station. The room was spacious, with a large bed, a TV set and Wi-Fi. I was given the option to save up on water and not change the towels every day, which I appreciated as an ecological solution. The room also had a small fridge, which was a great boon, especially given how hot the end of August was.

Having bedsheets more appropriate for the August heat would have been good, especially because the room was not air-conditioned. With the windows opening onto the street, it does get noisy and makes sleep somewhat difficult. Having to reset your Wi-Fi every day (it is only valid for 24 hours) was quite annoying too.

Parking space at rear for my motorcycle 🏍, pleasant reception staff and staff throughout my stay. Aged hotel but clean & functional. Explored area & headed for Metro nearby to Ouchy. Shower 🚿 was OK, but facilities are shared down corridor. Kept window open as no a / c or, indeed, a fan but was noisy through early part of night.

Went to leave following morning but 2 cars had blocked me in, luckily, the reception guy phoned a guy who came & moved his car to allow me to carry on with my motorcycle 🏍 tour.

The facilities were good, we stayed in one en suite room and one single room with kitchenette and shared bathroom. The kitchenette defintely saved us money with a trip to Aldi for the 10 days costing us less than two McDonald’s takeouts. The facilities were clean, and it was in very close proximity to the metro which takes you to the lake in around 10 minutes. There is access at the front and back - I have mobility problems so using the single step at the back with my key was much easier than climbing the steps at the front

The kitchenette was basic - essentially two hobs and a fridge. It was enough to make basic meals and keep food from going off!

Very friendly staff! Close to the center. I ordered parking in advance - there were no problems with parking. All the rooms are small. There were no complaints about cleanliness. The coffee machine is great! It can also function as a kettle. This is a good option for a very expensive city.

We had a room with a private bathroom. If you value comfort or are traveling with family - take only such a room, there are not many of them and they are a little more expensive, but it is worth it. The shared bathroom is very small.

The room is nice and clean and quiet, staff is nice and helpful. Fairly comfy. Comes with fridge and sink in room.

For the price, to have no bathroom or AC, it is not worth it. Bathrooms are tiny and shower barely works. Curtains don’t block out light. Long uphill walk from main train station. I understand Switzerland is expensive but you are better off staying in a hostel and saving your money.

Very convenient location in the heart of town. Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. Convenient kitchen and cooking appliances.

Rude cleaners. We had left the 'do not disturb' tag on the door, as we wanted to sleep in. The cleaners kept knocking on our door, even when I answered the door and explained "our room doesn't need cleaning" they demanded what time we were leaving our room. I once again pointed to the 'do not disturb' tag on our door, but they kept wanting to know when we leaving the room. Do not disturb means Do not disturb.

Great little hotel and great value for Lausanne. We had a comfortable double room with washbasin and shared toilet / shower facilities. The beds were comfortable and welcome after a days travelling. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. They provided us with a free day travel pass during our stay. We didn’t mind at all having to use the toilet and shower at the bottom end of the hallway, mainly as the hotel was quite quiet during our stay, however had it been busy we may have minded more. It reminded me of a bygone era when people often used shared facilities like this, and it really was not a problem. We also had to check in ourselves via a digit box as we arrived late however that also was not difficult and posed not problem for us.

Nothing really - we enjoyed our stay.

This is the first time I elect a room with a shared bathroom, since I was on a somewhat economical vacation. To my surprise I didn't see any problems with this. I would do it again (in this hotel). The bathroom sink, and the shared bathroom were plenty enough. The location was pretty good, almost inside the city center.

The shared bathroom and shower were a bit claustrophobic I arrived after my check-in time (around 15:30), I was given a room key, but when I got there, it hadn't been cleaned. I left my baggage in the closet, as per the cleaning staff's proposal, which made me somewhat unsafe. Returned in an hour, and it was cleaned, and retrieved my luggage.
