The location and free parking. The problem is with the parking, sometime if you come back late and want to go outside, you will pay the parking since the staff is out by 8pm. However, the staff can give you a ticket to avoid such situation. You have to ask for this ticket.
We asked for a double bed in the reservation. But as we,were there we were surprised to have 2 tween beds. As we asked for a double bed, the lady told us that we have to pay to get an upgrade room since there is no availibility for double bed for the reserved room. We asked to have it in the 3rd day. ☹️☹️☹️☹️

Super convenient location with the metro just at the hotel's doorstep. Two small supermarkets and 2 restaurants just downstairs. Room was clean and spacious. Great water dispenser that dispenses both still and sparkling (2 levels of sparklingness :)) water. Reception was warm (on the first day), and we were given a free travel pass by Lausanne tourism department for all public transport.
No tea making facility inside room. Teabags need to be collected from reception, which we did not due to the short working hours of the reception. Coffee from the coffee machine is payable. The shower area is relatively dark (no light near it) although it is still ok.

Very convenient for me as it was on the EPFL campus. This is something like a dorm-style hotel, although the room, bathroom, etc. were fine, so I have no complaints. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was basic, but exactly what I wanted. There are a couple of decent restaurants in the same complex, so that was convenient too, and the hotel is right on the tram, so downtown Lausanne is less than 10 min away.
The parking in the garage next door was very convenient, but quite expensive for such a rural location - e.g., I paid 60-70 SFr for one night. Perhaps my ticket could have been validated at the hotel for a better rate - alas. No other problems really.

Holy sh*t not sure where to start here. I guess the most important thing is that everything about this hotel is solid, and I would definitely stay there again. Now for the full experience: - it’s a little hard to find, but you’ll figure it out. - The entrance to the parking garage is secret. It’s on the exact opposite side of the building from the entrance. - There are grocery stores, and a little mini mall right in the same building. They close very early and aren’t open on Sundays. As an American it made me appreciate oppressive capitalism for the first time in my life. - The architecture, if you care about that, can be best described as 1985 Soviet chic. - The windows are just f*cking weird. There’s no AC (normal for hotels in this area so nbd) but of the two hinged swinging windows, one tips open the *tiniest* amount and blocks the other from opening fully. There is a ceiling fan, but it has the power of a laptop fan and just teases you with the slightest breeze. - Getting from the parking garage to the room involved: 2 different elevators, 400m of walking, 17 wrong turns, and a lot of self doubt. - The decor in the room was a monument to minimalism. There was absolutely nothing on the walls. I spent most of my time there trying to figure out which wall was a two way mirror. -SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES! Big room for sure. TO BE CLEAR: I am not roasting this place and I would 100% stay there again. It was a great, and unique experience.
Nothing. 10/10. You can’t find sh*t like this in America.

Did not expect much because it is not that many stars but was greatly suprised. Parking the car means you do have to take a few lifts and walk round the building to get in but they validate your parking so there is nothing to pay. Staff were exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful, even when we checked in close to reception closing hours. Room was spcious, clean. Surrounding area was quite nice and lively with students and supermarkets if we needed something. Metro on your doorstep. Good value for money too in Switzerland.
Could have had a kettle and fridge in the room. Had to pay for hot drinks at the end of the corridor.

Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and offered comfort for our family. Bathroom was clean and showers were good. We don't have any specific complains and enjoyed our stay there. There are supermarkets close and a couple places to eat.
Access to the hotel is cumbersome, because you have to walk several meters with your luggage. Breakfast was a bit expensive for our taste, but having supermarkets attached to the hotel building was very helpful.

The beds were very comfortable. The price included both free parking and a public transport ticket in the Lausanne area - highly appreciated. Staff were friendly and keen to help.
The airco and ventilation were totally switched off from 9pm to 9am. In the height of the summer (over 30°C) it is a very bad idea: the room overheats and when you take a shower, the humidity stays in the room. Outside temperature being hot, and the metro starting to make noise from 5am, opening the window is not a solution.

The comfort.
Parking: I had my car there and twice I was trying to get out of there after validating my card with the hotel staff. Twice it didn't work, there were other cars which also couldn't get out. In total, 6 cars were stuck there because the validation didn't work. After calling for assistance, the woman on the speaker was asking all kinds of questions (registration number, where from, what kind of car, where from and so on. I told her I was stuck there with 2 other cars which also couldn't get out (their validations also didn't work.) I told her to call the hotel registration desk, she refused. Then why the validations?

I adore the location! We attended ceremony at EPFL and this was just perfect stay on the campus! Metro station driving to the center is in front of the hotel, perfect for sightseeing. We git free public transportation tickets. There is a public garage under the hotel and a big supermarket just next door. Room was simply decorated but spacious and clean. It was well heated and quite. No noise at all, so we had a great sleep.
It is a pitty there is no refrigerator in the room.

The room was rather spacious with a dry-keep window. The bed was OK with a good mattress. The bathroom had a convenient shower. Friendly receptionists. Free transportation cards were granted for all our stay. Free microwave oven and plates at the reception. Metro station close to the hotel, some 10-15-minutes ride to Lausanna-Flon. Two supermarkets next door.
The reception is closed between 20:30 to 06:30. A bedside lamp was broken and fell off at night, with live wires outside; it was not repaired until our check-out. The taps were outdated and it was hard to set a desirable water temperature. The window faced the metro depot and the noise began in the small hours. We could connect to Wi-Fi only with the help of receptionists; Wi-Fi stopped to work at night before our departure and there was no one to help until next morning.
