The room was spacious, good bed, very large bathroom with plenty of room to place your personal items. Excellent shower. Very gracious staff, and an excellent restaurant. Located a 5 minute walk from the Cully train station, and nearly on the lake with beautiful walks. (We took the train into Lausanne, and back. They still run at 2 a.m.!) We booked last minute during off-season on Easter weekend, and got very good value for this type of room. And off-season it was easy to park on the street close by.

Room was advertised with a mini-bar, but didn't have one. The online pictures for this room category can be confusing, as the actual rooms vary greatly in size and style. But our room was excellent, and good value. I would definitely return here, also to the restaurant.

Very large room, decorated as a proper classy hotel (not cheap ikea furniture like most european hotels under 200eur). Bathroom was surprisingly spacious and modern, good bed, curtains that actually block all light. Very pleasant stay with the family, even if it was for just a night on my way from Lausanne to Interlaken. Definitely worth checking the wineries in the region.

Parking was complicated. There are like 10 parking spots in front of the hotel, if you don't get one of those you will park further down the road, at least some 100 or 200m. And then you have to put the little clock paper (whatever that's called) and that gives you 2h in the morning, which means by 10am you need to get your car or get a fine in CHF. The gentleman at the reception was incredibly nice and explained all of that to me. Still, it would be nice to have some parking at least easier (like in the street by the lake) reserved to hotel guests, even if not for free.

Excellent hotel. We stayed there for one week and it was a pleasure to be there. We had a room on the 3rd floor, very spacious with a nice view of the old city, exceptionally clean and cozy. We also had a buffet style breakfasts with many options to choose from, and a very helpful staff. And we really appreciated a short walk to the train and the lake. Overall, it was a great stay! When back in the area we hope to stay there again.

We have stayed at this property literally countless times but wanted to introduce good friends to it. They liked it immediately from the location to the staff, from the rooms to the meals and the hosting by M. Gauer who was friendly, charming, warm and welcoming.

The lighting was deemed to be on the dim side so some small adjustments to illuminate the bathrooms would be very good. Otherwise, an excellent auberge to relax in.

charming hotel, with lovely rooms (large, decorated with a lot of style, and spotlessly clean), great comfort-enhancing amenities (bath rope, shampoo, etc.), very comfortable beds, and located close to the lake and central to the village. breakfast was served in a hotel nearby.

the wifi was not working most of the time that I was there; reception was not staffed, but there was always someone around from the other staff to help out.

We had a very beautiful and spacious room, for a reasonable price. The location is beautiful. The young woman at the front desk (can't remember her name, but she is Italian/Romanian) was exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful. She really made our stay wonderful and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The Greek restaurant across the street, owned by the owner of Auberge du Raison, and opened by his sister Michele, was excellent, with delicious, creative, healthy Greek food.

It would have been nice to have breakfast at the hotel rather than having to go to a neighboring hotel, which served an adequate breakfast. There was no place to get a cup of coffee in the morning, without leaving the hotel. There was a tea kettle and tea bags in the room, but not coffee making things.

Ideally located in the heart of the charming village of Cully and very close (2min walk) to the lake. The director, Mr. Jean-Jacques Gauer, was charming and welcoming. The room was huge with a nice view to the lake and the bathroom was large too. We had the best night sleep. Wonderful stay.

There is nothing not to like about the hotel if you are looking for a traditional family owned village hotel that makes you feel at home. Maybe the breakfast could be more "Swiss" with more cheese and dried meat.

This is by far one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in! Located in a medieval building right in the historic center of the village, this hotel takes you back in time with its old classical interior design! The breakfast was quiet rich, the room was spacious and well-equipped! Overall, i highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to have an unforgettable experience visiting the LAVAUX Vineyards!

No staff. Housekeeper spoke no language. Needed a plastic slip free mat for the shower and she didn't have it. Luxerious property should have at least a coffee machine in the lobby with cream or milk so.guests don't need to go to other hotel for coffee. Safe didn't work.

We were trilled with our entire stay! The staff was incredible. The hotel is so charming and well maintained. Our room was huge. We slept wonderfully, didn’t hear a thing the whole night. The restaurant was fantastic. We just could not have been happier. We hope to visit again. We highly recommend this hotel!
