Everything the hotel is lovely, just as in the pictures, the room is very spacious, we got an upgrade with a view towards the garden and the lake which was wonderful. We look forward to coming again and enjoying this gem.

Nothing - verything was great

We had a great view from our room, which was lakeside. The balcony had plenty of room for two people to sit. The hotel property inside was very nice, beautiful lobby. Rooms somewhat plain but nice, roomy and very clean. Serviced daily. Direct access to the walk along the water. Easy to walk to local restaurants.

Would have preferred to be a little closer to the train. It wasn't clear what the patio off the lounge was for. Our first night it looked occupied by a private party, the second it was empty, but lightly raining. I would have the desk staff explain the dinning and beverage options and help with reservations. The prices posted for dinning seemed a little high.

The hotel is located in an old mansion on the shores of Lake Geneva. Along with antique furniture and carpentry, you can see fresh repair and modern equipment and accessories. A stunned view of the lake and mountains opens from the balconies. We took two numbers for the family and everywhere was comfortable and pleasant.

I was surprised when, during the check in, they demanded a copy of my bank card from me. I tried to argue that any bank does not recommend sharing the data of the cards. Otherwise, they threatened to block the minibar. I suggested that they leave a cache as a bail, but they demanded a card. I was forced to give them my bank card, with which they made copies. Of course, this forced me to release a new card in the bank after returning home.

I have been staying in this hotel eight times, one of the best options to stay during the music festival. View is gorgeous, the place is quiet (there are crowds in the center, closer to the concert venue, which is why I always choose more remote location). Is ir essential to choose a room with lake view (city view rooms face a road and are noisy, you would also miss the opportunity to wake up with gourgeous lake just in your sight).

Breakfast is vey basic and quite poor, fruit and cofee are not delicious. Croissants are good, though.

A very beautiful hotel with perfect location. Montreux is a visual treat and view from my room balcony was gorgeous. Very pretty garden leading to lakeside walk path. Breakfast in attractive surroundings and included in room cost. Food at dinner well presented and tasty. The lounge area exceptional both in position (view) and comfort/decor.

Although staff very efficient they were all rather detached! Minor issue and did not detract from lovely break

The view from the room was amazing. The balcony was a perfect setting for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine with breath taking scenes of Lake Geneva and the snow covered alps.

The climate control in the room could have been better. The safe was not working which I reported to the desk with no response - I think all it needed was a battery replacement, which should have been an easy fix.

Exceeded our expectations by some way. We were upgraded on arrival to a superior double and benefitted from rooms with views of the lake - just breath-taking. Food and service were of a very high standard and this applied to breakfast - we ended up eating at the hotel on both evenings as the terrace provided a unique and stunning backdrop. The location was sublime, straight out onto the lake and close enough to walk to key transport routes and activities.

*No AC but a fan was provided so it was OK (we knew AC wasn’t super common in the area so this certainly wasn’t a dealbreaker)

Nice location facing the lake, with the lake shore promenade close-by. Rooms with old fashioned furnitures but nice and comfortable. Nice terrace for an evening drink.

No AC in the room in hot summer nights required to open the windows to get fresh air. The area is not noisy a part from the proximity of the railway line… Too bad, the breakfast room is not open on the garden.
