You cannot separate price from the evaluation of quality when considering any property. Montreux is a classy resort and most hotels are corresponding expensive. The Bon Port was very good value as a centrally located, 'clean and safe' option.

The furniture in my room was basic and a bit down at heel (though the bed was still perfectly comfortable). The property is unattended at night which might pose challenges if other guests were very rowdy or in the even of a fire.

The bed was ridiculously comfortable, large spacious rooms and lovely smelling toiletries. Staff always friendly and helpful, you felt at home with them. Great value for money. Never seen a cleaner, but you know they are around and pay attention to detail, for me they may be the best part of the hotel. Very short walk to waterfront, Christmas Market or other events held in area. Only photo I got of the room where after I flipped my nicely folded pjs over to the other side to lie down. After a short stay in a chain hotel who changed my bins, I expected the same for my two nights here. Mostly left tidy, but came back to bed made again and my pjs which were hidden under the pillow folded neatly out for me coming back at night. Small touches.

It’s not that I didn’t like, but things others might complain about are maintenance issues such as scratch’s on furniture or doors. Also more of a note about the lift, not great for people nervous about lifts. But I learnt to wait for the little bump at the end to when the doors would open. However, these can be caused overseen when everything else is so good. As a solo female, I’d feel safer with a lock and a peep hole on the door. But that’s constructive feedback as I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again.

I've read some negative reviews about the hotel, so I'm not sure — we were probably just lucky to get a really nice and clean room. It was on the third floor and had a view of Chillon Castle in the distance. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing — just a three-minute walk to the casino and the seafront, and about 15 minutes on foot from the railway station.

Property is great value for money. Rooms are spacious, clean and bright. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Front desk could have been more courteous. We were told that our booking could be refused as the children travelling with us were not mentioned in the booking (We had 3 rooms booked). I had to open booking.com app and show it to him that all the children were were clearly mentioned in the booking voucher. Even other interactions with the front desk were not the most pleasant ones.

Reception staff were excellent extremely helpful and friendly cant rate them high enough. They room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very clean too.

The only thing we were disappointed with was the fact that our coffee and sugar wasn't replaced every day when we used them.But that is only a small detail because everything else was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bon Port to anybody or staying there myself again..Really enjoyed our stay.You have the best reception staff and we really appreciate all the help they gave us. Thank you.

The location is superb. The staff are lovely can't do enough to help make your stay all you would want it to be ❤️ It was my second stay here and I'll definitely book again.

Nothing! Everything was as it should be. Even though my plane was delayed and it was nearly midnight when I checked in. The contingency plan worked perfectly.

The room was spacious and comfortable with an electric kettle and all tea/coffee ameneties. the bathroom was great too- especially enjoyed the water pressure in the shower. All toiletries were provided and overall it was a great stay. We could walk everywhere, shops were close by and the lake was a minute walk away. Superb location.

Great location, and good value considering the prices in the area. My room was quiet, well-ventilated, and had a decent view. The staff was helpful when needed.

The lobby vending machine is abysmally stocked and is inaccurate in saying it takes Euros as well as Swiss Francs. The beds and pillows are really quite unusual and not comfortable. I asked for more pillows after I had messed up my back during my first night's sleep there, but was told none were available. Also, no mini-fridge but I should have noticed that detail before booking.

Fantastic location — just a short walk to the train station, Chillon Castle, Lakeside Promenade, Freddie Mercury Statue, and Queen: The Studio Experience. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the room is clean, and the bed is very comfortable. A perfect base for exploring Montreux.

I liked the fact that the hotel was only a couple of minutes walk from Lake Geneva and an easy walk from the train station. The room was clean and adequate for an overnight stay. We were able to leave our luggage prior to check-in time.

I would have appreciated a couple more breakfast options.
