The B&B is conveniently located, super clean and with very nice staff. And good breakfast served by the host himself. The room was spacious with a lot of toiletries, coffee and tea making facilities - but the reason I am rating lower than fab is that train was running right outside my window, 2 meters from it with the rails at the height of the window. I am not sure it is not my mis that I didn’t read about this before, but was just a negative surprise for me. For the cost also I was just expecting different. I realize hotels in Switzerland are expensive, and while I am not aware of specifik Montreux costs, I do find EUR 230 for a single occupancy room a lot for that!

We stayed for two nights as part of a road trip across Europe. Was delighted with the property, which was excellent. It's located very close to the Lake, about a ten second stroll, and then it's a very easy walk into the centre of Montreux. The host was very pleasant and welcoming. We parked our car in a garage on the premises, which felt very secure. Our room was very spacious with a view over the lake. Breakfast was superb, a vast range of food including cold meats, cheese, tomatoes, eggs, fresh bread, croissants, fresh melon, yogurts. Tea and coffee. We shared a bathroom with one other bedroom, but this didn't cause any problems. I'd read a few critical reviews before travelling and had been slightly concerned, but I would certainly return to this guest house. There is a train line quite close to the hotel, but this didn't bother us at all. There is a kitchen that you can use to prepare food if you wish, also a games room with a pool table. Overall, a superb place to stay.

The rooms we had are spacious, and clean. The view from the room of the lake and mountains is beautiful. There was one bathroom and one powder room which was very good for a family of four. The host is very friendly, responsive and helpful. He helped with carrying our bags as well. The place has a recreation area that is very nice. The bus stop (Bon port) is right next to the property and travel is very convenient. The host provides with a riviera card that makes local travel free. The breakfast was delicious and the spread is great!!

The kitchen space is shared on the 2nd and 1st floor and shared which is slightly inconvenient. There is no elevator so if you have issues climbing floors it can be a concern. We did not have any issues with the noise of the train (it was very minimal) but some may have issues with it. The bathroom and powder room are outside the room and there is another room in that space which is privately owned by the owner. No one was staying there during our stay but if someone stays there it may be an issue.

I traveled with my family. We booked the double room. It was very comfortable. The bus stop is right outside the guest house. Access to the lakeside trail is right across the street. Lakeside walk was very lovely. We reached there by Golden pass express at around 8 pm. Thomas was in continuous touch with us and was available to welcome us. Breakfast was good. Terrace was small but lovely. There is a Pac-Man machine. Kids loved it. We kept our luggage after check out for couple of hours in the office.

The guest house is next to the train tracks. However, it was not too noisy. Bathrooms are shared. There are separate toilets for men and women. There is a big shower room and a small shower room. So plenty of options are available but when we were there all of them were occupied. We stayed there for a night otherwise it would have been difficult. There is no lift/ elevator. We didn't have heavy bags so it wasn't a problem. Thomas also helped us with the bags.

The breakfast was excellent with a great variety. They also offer late-afternoon snacks, and a kitchen is available if you wish to cook during your stay. The room and bathrooms were very clean, and they provide ample supplies if you forget anything.

Everything was fine. For those driving, it’s important to note that parking spaces on-site are limited. You’ll need to park either on the street behind the property or in a nearby paid parking lot. As is common in Switzerland, parking fees are separate. This is usual for me, but others might want to be aware.

Located on the bus line to the Train Station and the Chateau, you can walk across the street and take in amazing views of the lake. The host was more than kind and helpful. The breakfast was generous and varied. We walked down to the Jazz fest and had a very good time!

We had a private bathroom, but it was across the hall. Not what I expected, but it really wasn’t an inconvenience. The charm of the place and the location more than overshadowed the anomaly of a detached bathroom, which by the way, was clean, spacious and stocked with amenities.

Very good breakfast! Location next to the bus stop, and just few meters from the promenade. The kitchen, bathroom and facilities were modern and nicely maintained. Complete set of extras (sewing kit, razor, toothpaste and toothbrush etc.) on arrival - very nice touch!

Room we got was located just in front of the railroad (and I mean it IN FRONT, like 3 meters away!!) You can hear each train passing despite closed windows. The place provides the earplugs though - so noise level can be tamed a little. The room door is not sound insulated either - so you can hear very very well everything that is happening in the common areas and in the corridor - again solvable with earplugs. A little bit outside the center, but that is not an issue - Montreux is not that big anyways.

Good place to stay with a bus stop few steps from the hotel, making it easy to sightsee. Staff was courteous. Has a pool table, and game station to keep kids engaged. Adequate breakfast was included and you have a coffee machine and fruits in the kitchen which you can access anytime. We had booked a family room for the 4 of us and its quite big.

While it may have been an oversight on our part, the hotel lists a family room with a shared bathroom. We wrongly assumed that the bathroom would be for us alone, which is not the case. The bath is good with a hot tub etc, and since we were in the low season, there were not too many people around. But we usually book rooms with private bathrooms since there are 4 of us. So a bit uncomfortable with that. But again, we probably didn't read it right. Another thing is there is no elevator. We had quite a bit of luggage and so had to get it up to the 2nd floor to the rooms. So if u travel heavy, might need to think abt that.

This is a nice little budget b&b very well located, close to the lake and good transport connection (or easy walking distance) to everything. You can see that the owner is working very hard to make their guests comfortable. Good breakfast Free laundry facilities. Lovely young lady at the reception.

The studio on the ground floor needs a better clean. The tiles in the shower were yellow -ish and moldy and the doors of the kitchen cabinets had spots all over. I gave it a quick rub with the kitchen sponge and the dishwashing liquid, and it was a huge improvement. A proper clean will turn it into a lovely budget studio. And those chairs need to be replaced:)

This is my spot for stay when I'm in Montreux. It requires a walk from the train station, but since the route goes along with the lake side promenade, I used to enjoy this walk a lot. It is close to everything, and if someone is not suitable for long walks, there is a bus station very close to the property. I could get the same room that I stayed before, so I could feel myself a bit home. Breakfast is very nice, I could get all the options that I needed (can't take sweets). The lake is very near. I'll definitely come back here when I'll be in Montreux again.
