Very comfortable hotel, beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Short walk to the train station. Rooms were well kept with modern bathroom facilities with fluffy towels. Was a bonus to be given a free pass for public transport during our stay.

Perhaps the rooms would benefit from a little refresh, especially add some colour and update the rather suggestive pictures ( obviously based purely on our taste). Our kitchenette needed a few more items added to make it usable.

The hotel is very good, modern, clean and spacious. It's in a good location close to the train station and many shops. We had an extra movable heater which helped to keep the room warm. Our room had a good view of the lake and it also came with a furnished kitchen which was a pleasant surprise😊. Palmi at the reception is very helpful and friendly. She gave us the correct charger as we hadn't carried one. She also offered to keep our luggage at the reception after checkout which helped us explore the city further as our flight was in the night. One of the nights we stayed here was my birthday, the hotel gave me a birthday card on that day. Will definitely stay here again when in Montreux.

The property was perfectly located close to Lake Geneva, the Old Town and to the train station. The hotel room itself was average itself but clean. The room unfortunately doesn't have air conditioning, which would be problematic on a summer's evening as the room didn't get my ventilation despite keeping the windows open by night. It would be great if they included a bar fridge and a few other amenities that you find in most other hotels 3 stars and above.

Very good location a short walk from train station and restaurants around town. The room was a reasonable size, there was ample storage so nothing needed to be left around. Good sized bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large with a shower above bath. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Montreux card provided which gives free transport and discounted entry to some museums. Good value for money.

There is some noise from the road outside which could be disturbing for light sleepers. The bathroom would benefit from having a rail to enable easier access into and out of the bath for showering.

The room is spotless, the location is ideal, and the food is truly exceptional! You can feel the passion of the chef and the entire team in every dish—so delicate and elegant, yet still warm and approachable. We dined here twice during our trip, and each time brought new surprises. This restaurant deserves recognition not just for its amazing pizza, but for its outstanding antipasti and main courses as well. Everything was fantastic!

There was a bit of noise from the restaurant at night, but we were quite tired from our day trips, and it didn’t bother us much—especially after closing the curtain. Everything else was wonderful!

Just across the road from the lake. My room had a view of the lake if you look to the right, was informed it was the only standard room to have that view. Checked in after hours but the instructions were clear so had no problem accessing the room. Room was clean though the bed was softer than my preference. Both receptionists I met could not be nicer. Very close to train station and other amenities. Great location as a base to visit other parts of Switzerland.

Tight space in bathroom.

Hotel Rouvenaz has an amazing location less than 500 meters from the Montreux train station. You can run to the train station to catch a train in less than 10 minutes with a suitcase if you really tried. This makes it great as a base for day trips, and it is equally near the Montreux city center and promenada in the other direction. You can cross the street and jump into Lake Geneva from the hotel. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. There is slight noise from people passing in the street below (which did not bother me) given how close the hotel is to the promenade. Great value for money. The hotel is also attached to the best Italian restaurant and gelato stand in town, though hotel guests get no discount.

I was annoyed that the staff was not proactive for lack of a better term. I stayed 8 days and did not receive my Montreux card until two days before I left because the receptionist was more focused on checking if I wanted to buy breakfast or make a reservation in the attached restaurant than asking if I needed the Montreux card, and it cost me some money in lost train fares and the discount to Chillon Castle. The arrival instructions note that the hotel is walking distance from the train station but do not note that the promenade street in Montreux is two stories down--and that there are actually elevators leading down. I almost hauled a heavy suitcase down two stories of stairs had a bystander not pointed me to the elevator.

Perfect location. Central to everything and only minutes walk from the station. We arrived late so the reception was closed but the instructions we were given beforehand to access the hotel/room by codes were simple and clear. A ‘Happy Birthday’ card was left in the bedroom for me too. Room was small but functional and cosy and warm. Bathroom was tiny but the shower great. Breakfast is continental but sufficient and was well organised. The staff and two receptionists were so nice and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay here. Price was good too for Switzerland.

all staff are very kind , one who help us checked-in also offer free transport ticket and recommended where should we go , Hotel locate just 200-300 m. from train station so very easy to reach hotel. Breakfast is more than enough. the most favourite for this hotel is dinner the hotel has very good dinner seafood and steak also desserts is very very good.

Only one little thing, it a bit steep of the road but very short in front of hotel so if you have many luggages

Staff were so friendly and helpful and accommodating they really were all fantastic especially the man that checked us in on our first day. The room was clean and we had plenty of space, beds were comfortable and the towels were lovely. Location is one of the best parts it's only 6 mins walk to the train station and there are lifts and escalators to go up to the station's street level. Everything was in walking distance and beautiful views of the lake and the mountains in the background only across the road!

Breakfast was expensive for what it was, 28CHF for two people (I probably should have asked how much it was but having seen what was on offer before I just assumed it wouldn't be that much) very basic for the price I would generally expect much more.
