I loved almost everything about this little gem of a hotel. If you are looking for simplicity, silence and good value, then look no further. The staff were so kind and friendly. My room and all of the hotel's facilities were spotlessly clean and in good order. The breakfast was excellent. The location is super nice. I even went to a service in the chapel and was the only person there (apart from the celebrant.) I had booked a small room, but it was a good size for one person. The shower room was large and the shower was powerful.

I was a bit disappointed with the dinner. Veg lasagne, a small salad and some strawberries - not worth 30 CHF. Although, this is Switzerland, so maybe it was good value after all.

The setting is absolutely beautiful and it is a peaceful well-maintained old monastery surrounded by nature. The rooms were small but charming and spotlessly clean. I appreciated the sustainable and environmentally friendly approach throughout the property. The staff were incredibly sweet and kind and always ready to help. I also loved the thoughtful shuttle service which only cost 3 CHF and made transport very easy. Dinner on the first evening was served and I enjoyed it even more than the buffet on the second night. On both days dinner was served along with local wine which made the experience even more special. The breakfast was simple yet delicious with standout homemade French croissants.

The coffee at breakfast was not very good and could be improved.

Staff was friendly. Dinner and breakfast were great. It is a beautiful setting for the hotel. I sat on the balcony for hours watching and listening to the nearby farm, which was very peaceful. Our party of 9 people were very impressed.

There is no air conditioning. My room had multiple windows and I got a breeze all night to cool the room off, which was great. Our other four rooms in our party complained about being too hot, even with the windows left open. I knew the Wi-Fi was only available in limited areas when I made the reservation, but it would have been nice to have it available in the rooms.

Absolutely beautiful place and very kind and welcoming hosts. The room exceeded my expectations: high wooden ceilings and a balcony overlooking nearby farmland and down to the lake. Peaceful and tranquil setting, and a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. Our dog was also very welcome. We booked dinner and breakfast, and both were fantastic, with high quality local produce with a lovely selection, lots of vegetables and salad, from a buffet. Beautiful terraces, one behind the building and one through the restaurant. A lovely "meditative path" through the woodland for a pre-dinner stroll, and the birds from the woodland provide a beautiful soundtrack of birdsong to the whole experience.

The breakfast buffet ran out well before the end of breakfast and was not replenished, which was a shame. I am not sure why there is a huge cactus right behind the table in the corner of the restaurant. The breakfast waiter specifically asked us to sit there, but its not a good place, as the person beside the cactus has to lean forward all the time, or gets prickled. I advise not to sit in that seat :)

A very picturesque and tranquil place, perfect for enjoying the beauty of nature in silence. I'd also like to thank for the sincere hospitality. I decided to walk from the train station, which would have been fine, but the path is quite steep—a fact I wasn't aware of. It wasn't a pleasant walk with luggage. Suddenly, a car stopped near me, and the owner politely offered me a ride. It was the hotel director. Sincere thanks, monsieur le directeur. I was pleasantly surprised and felt very warmly welcomed.

Cozy place in an old nice Chateau. We were there rather out of the season, so it should be even nicer in summer. The place has a moderate religious flare, but you don’t have to be involved in anything. Stuff has difficulties in speaking anything other than French, but I would put it under “neutral”, because it kinda belongs to the “atmosphere” in most of French-related places.

E-charge car station was not working (offline in the app whatever you do). WiFi is available in the common rooms only (not in the chambers). They say it is on purpose “to provide private quiet atmosphere”, which honestly makes quite little sense and I suspect they could have just saved on routers and additional internet connections.

Property is mainly a religious retreat space and rooms are rented out between events. The place is well-managed and rooms are individual with bed and sink (showers and toilets are common but we never had to wait). Property is good for people looking for a quiet and serene atmosphere. It is a quick drive to Lake Geneva and a lovely, meandering countryside drive to Gruyere for the chocolate and cheese factory tours.

We had no issues and everything was as expected.

The location is scenic and the staff are all extremely polite and helpful. All of the facilities are clean. The breakfast buffet is hearty and quality.

The shared shower is comically small, you actually cannot stand up straight. Something to keep in mind if you’re on the taller side.

Nice quiet location in the countryside. Great place to stay if you want to have a restful and peaceful stay. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is very good!

Keep in mind you will likely need a car to get here. The single rooms are small and basic, but if you're planning to spend most of your time visiting the area, they offer a good balance of price versus quality. I would definitely return again.

Gorgeous character, very quiet, food was excellent! Cows in the field right next to it. :) Plenty of parking. Window opened on to a gorgeous view.

No wifi in the rooms, but it was free in the public areas. It is supposed to be a quiet retreat. Lighting in the room was a little dim
